First United Methodist Church is the place where a Sunday evening meal is served each week. Different groups throughout the community take turns hosting the meal.

Tonight it was our churches turn to host the meal and it was a great time! We had 109 guests that we were able to serve and as a group we always have so much fun doing it!

We are looking for groups to provide the meal and serve on July 5th and November 22nd. We are open to groups in the community who want to provide this meal and share in this wonderful experience. We will train you and offer support! Please reach out if you would like to do this or would like to learn more about it. You can talk to Mark or Jen Johnson!

We are also looking for people at First United Methodist Church to volunteer as stewards. In that role, you greet the group that is hosting, and help them get settled in. And then you come back when it is done and help lock up the church. You generally arrive about 3 PM, and come back about 5 PM. Again talk to Mark or Jen Johnson if interested!

Though we won't be witnesses to any ascending cats this Sunday, we will be celebrating Christ's Ascension, as well as our graduates ascending from high school to college and adulthood. Come and lift your souls in worship!

A huge thank you to RAD of Wisconsin for their continued support of Claire’s Critter Closet and the work this mission does to help pets and the people who love them in our community. We are incredibly grateful for your generosity and partnership!

Claire’s Critter Closet provides dog and cat food and basic supplies to pet owners during difficult times. This mission is open to anyone in need, with no application or eligibility requirements.

4th Saturdays, 9:00–11:00 AM

All are welcome to attend the Grand Opening with Middle Eastern finger foods and insightful speakers at our church on Monday, May 4. This is an important exhibit about Palestine and its history, daily realities, and longing for human equality, freedom, and peace. The exhibit will also be available to view at our church on May 5-7, 9am-2pm, and at First U.U. on May 11-13 from 10am-4pm.
