Ways to stay close to the Eucharist this semester ⬇️

1. Consider incorporating Daily Mass into your schedule. Even if you only add 1-2 days a week, that's a great step.

2. Try out committing to a weekly holy hour. Check if your parish or Catholic Center has Eucharistic Adoration sign-up slots. If not, pick an hour a week to be in the presence of Jesus in the tabernacle. Maybe even bring a friend to keep you accountable (tag them here 🙌).

3. Arrive at Sunday Mass 30 minutes early if you are able. Spend some time in Jesus' presence before Mass begins.

Try incorporating one (or more) of these ideas into your semester. How do you plan on staying close to Jesus in the Eucharist?

This fall, we have 10 weekend retreats open for registration!

This could be you this semester. Participating in Liturgy of the Hours, attending Holy Mass and Adoration, and receiving intellectual formation from Thomistic Institute speakers and Dominicans here at the Dominican House of Studies or at one of our other retreat locations.

Each of our retreat weekends focuses on an intellectual question or topic. Topics this fall include Hope in Suffering, the Antidote to Relativism, the Theology of the Body and the Vocation of Man and Woman, and more!

But we cannot tell simply from what a person does whether he or she acts with fortitude. In fact, the superhero may not have fortitude at all while the soldier may. The reason is that fortitude requires fear."

The Dominican Rosary Pilgrimage is around the corner! And the Thomistic Institute is offering an intellectual retreat to accompany this exciting annual event coming up on September 25-27th.

There are 24 spots available for university students wishing to attend the pilgrimage. Accepted university students will be able to attend the pilgrimage at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception with lodging and food provided, and gain access to an exclusive Q&A session with Fr. Peter John Cameron, O.P.
