St. Albert was a veteran whose leg was amputated during the Polish Uprising of 1863. He later joined the Third Order of St. Francis, Servants to the Poor, and founded the Albertines. Today, the Albertines continue their mission of serving the unhoused throughout Poland.
Following the work of St. Albert, NCPD will be launching a course on Accompanying Persons with Housing Insecurity. This course will focus on how parishes can build ministries to support persons experiencing housing insecurity.
