Our beloved sister, Dr. Raquel M. Martinez, has departed for her heavenly home this Sunday, April 12th. We give thanks to God for her life and the legacy she leaves to our United Methodist Church. Let us keep her beloved husband, Bishop Joel N. Martinez, and their children in our prayers. Funeral arrangements are pending, and we will inform you as soon as we have more information. 🙏🏽

In the name of Jesus, we ask that God break every chain of oppression manifesting in our laws and federal agents. The God who heard the cry of the people in Egypt is the same liberating God at work through courageous disciples today.
