The Ramayana itself is love in form.
Valmiki takes love and grief, longing and courage, separation, devotion,
and remembrance, and gives them form through poetry.
For thousands of years, people have continued to give that love new forms through painting Rama, sculpting Hanuman, singing the Ramayana, dancing it, embroidering it, carving it, and carrying its stories forward through countless acts of creation.
“Love in Form” belongs to this ancient stream of devotional expression.
The works gathered offer images of Maharaj-ji, Hanuman, and the Divine,
created in different times and places, with different materials and by different hands.
Each, in its own way, gives visible form to something that cannot quite be seen: love,
remembrance, devotion, and the longing of the heart for God.
