Well, take a listen, good things are coming and already happening!

Don’t forget, friends, a solemity is the only type of feast that trumps a Friday in Lent and Catholics “cannot fast while the bridegroom is with them.”

So go and celebrate the Feast of the Annunciation (even with meat) and consider how you can be more open to saying “yes”’to God will from the depths of your soul, as Momma Mary did!

Happy Solemnity of the Annunciation of Our Lord! “Abstinence from meat, or from some other food as determined by the Episcopal Conference, is to be observed on all Fridays, unless a solemnity should fall on a Friday.” (Code of Canon Law 1251)

A Blessed Ash Wednesday & Start of the Lenten Season to all of you!

“The ashes mean that I am a sinner. But the cross means that I have a Savior. The ashes mean that I am not who I should be. But the cross means that there is a God who believes so fully in me that He is making me right now into the person that He believes that I can be.” - Fr. Mike Schmitz
