We have wrapped up another absolutely wonderful MSMW. MSMW 2026 could go down in the books as one of the best that we have ever had!

Today we had a crew make over 360 sandwiches which were delivered to an organization that is supporting veterans and those who’re unhoused. Another crew helped the St. Michael School clean classrooms, organize books/tech, and move some important items around as they wrap up their year. Our final crew gave some preschoolers the best water day they’ve ever had.

As we wrapped up the week, we had some time to reflect on all the work that we’ve done and the incredible friendships that have formed along the way. This time was accompanied by three massive pizzas, all the snow cones anyone could ever want, and hundreds of water balloons! We hope that everyone had a terrific week and that this is able to set the tone for the rest of their summer.

Please give your fantastic kids a thank you from the MSMW team for all that they did this week. We hope to see you all again very soon!

Day 4 of Middle School Mission Week and these missioners are finishing strong! 💪 Today our students partnered with the City of Florissant Parks Department for a full day of hard outdoor work — trimming overgrowth, mulching disc golf trails, and laying mulch under playground equipment. The park is gearing up to host a disc golf tournament next weekend, and our crew made a serious dent in the work ahead. Day 3 of Middle School Mission Week and our missioners brought their whole hearts to St. Peter’s Episcopal Church! 💚 Today was all about “donation stations” — hands-on service projects supporting organizations near and far. Students tie-dyed onesies and bibs for GIFT (Giving Is a Family Tradition), assembled new mom bags and cleaning buckets for LifeWise STL, put together first aid kits for Beyond Housing, packed veteran care kits for local Fisher Houses, and filled over 100 thank you bags for first responders — delivered directly to the Clayton Fire and Police Departments and the emergency department at St. Mary’s Hospital. What a day. So proud of the energy, creativity, and compassion these kids pour into every single stop this week. 🙌 Follow along at and — Day 4 takes them to Florissant Parks and Rec at Dunegant Park tomorrow!

Day 2 of Middle School Mission Week and these kids are not slowing down! 🙌 Today our missioners served at the St. Louis Area Food Bank — an organization dedicated to “nourishing people, empowering communities, and transforming systems” across the bi-state region. Our students packed 340 cases of popcorn, sorted and boxed 70 cases of food donations, and in a single day helped provide over 4,583 meals for families in the greater St. Louis area! Day 1 of Middle School Mission Week is in the books! 🌱 Rain and all, our middle schoolers headed to Heru Urban Farming in Florissant — an incredible organization growing fresh, affordable produce for St. Louis food deserts while also educating youth through agricultural programs in charter and public schools across the metro area. Our missioners jumped right in: washing and trimming turnips and beets, planting cucumbers and peppers, and harvesting loads of peas — work that saved Heru valuable time and resources so they can keep focusing on their many other community initiatives. These kids showed up, rolled up their sleeves, and made a real difference today. So proud of every one of them. 💚 Day 2 takes them to the St. Louis Area Foodbank — stay tuned!

🗓️ Middle School Mission Week is almost here — a few important reminders!

Before we send our 5th–8th graders out to serve, join us this Sunday, May 31 for:

📋 Parent Meeting @ 9 AM — drop-off, pick-up, and all the logistics you need to know
✝️ Commissioning @ 10 AM — we’ll send our mission week participants off with prayer during the regular Sunday service

Mission Week runs June 1–5, 8:30 AM–1 PM at sites across St. Louis. We can’t wait to see our young people live out their faith in service to our community!
