Worry has a way of consuming our thoughts and stealing our peace. But in Matthew 6:25-34, Jesus reminds us of a powerful truth: our Heavenly Father knows what we need.

The King does not call us to ignore life’s challenges—He calls us to trust Him in the middle of them.

Watch this short clip from this morning’s message, “When the King Addresses Your Worry,” and be encouraged that the God who cares for the birds of the air and clothes the lilies of the field also cares for you.

Ministry Home Update 🙌

God continues to provide, and we are excited to share that the plumbing rough-in is complete! Praise God! Another major step forward in this ministry home. Thank you Delong Plumbing and HVaC for investing in your community and doing this at half the cost. May God bless you abundantly.

Now we are moving to the next phase: electrical work. We need to raise $7,500 to complete the electrical needs in the house.

This home that was once used for destruction is being rebuilt into a place of ministry, hope, and transformation. Every pipe, wire, wall, and room is part of a bigger story of what God can do when His people come together.

This morning at Golden Avenue Baptist Church.

We continued our series “The King and His Kingdom” with the message “When the King Addresses Your Worry!” from Matthew 6:25-34.

Worry is something we all face, but Jesus reminds us that our heavenly Father knows our needs, cares for His creation, and calls us to trust Him daily.

The King invites us to take our eyes off our worries and place our focus on His kingdom. When we seek Him first, we can rest knowing that He is faithful.

“Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”
— Matthew 6:34

We are thankful for the opportunity to gather, worship, and hear God’s Word together.

Day 4 of VBS was another fun-filled night. We explored how Jesus' death and resurrection proved He was the Son of God. The kids kept cool while getting soaked during water night fun.

Night 1 of VBS was a blast! 75 people total, 40 of them were kids. John 8:12 is our theme verse for the week, “Jesus spoke to them again: “I am the light of the world. Anyone who follows me will never walk in the darkness but will have the light of life.”
