Who Authored / Compiled the Dead Sea Scrolls?
It may surprise you they answer OVER 100 TIMES!
First—did you know that from ~1947 to now, this last effort of several decades is the THIRD time one or more Dead Sea Scrolls have historically been discovered??
(See Timothy 1, Letter #47, and later “the Moses Shapiro controversy”, which must now both be re-examined in light of the 900+ manuscripts discovered in the 11 and now 12 caves which we know of today as the Dead Sea Scrolls)

It may be of interest to know that this location, Qumran, was the same site that is referenced as early as Joshua crossing into Yashar’Al (Israel) and essentially the cite at which in many ways, the New Testament truly “begins”. This site is correctly called, “Beth Arabah”, and you’ll find out why it will forever have a place in history and the heart of the believer.
This site is well preserved in both the Dead Sea Scrolls, and the Septuagint, the two oldest versions of the Old Testament we have (both roughly 200 BC), yet curiously turns up missing over 20+ times in the Masoretic texts (1000 AD). Foul play? It won’t be the only instance, if it is. Few stories are as sad as the Moses Shapiro story, or cave 7s “”collapse””(🙄) but even sadder yet is the uphill battle that the scrolls have seen making their way into the public eye without any scholarly handicaps or hidden agendas.
Why so much trouble for a set of old scrolls?
Well they happen to be the most important biblical manuscripts of all time. They are the oldest and most robust of anything even remotely comparebale in multiple languages and mediums and even copper tablets. They also tell an untold story that very few people have ever been made aware of. These scrolls at one point (See Timothy 1, Letter 47) historically sparked a group of Yahudym (Jews) to convert to faith in messiah and prompted the author to ask those privy to these matters if certain New Testament verses were found in specific books to ensure the correctness of his known scriptures. It is clearly implied that his question and statements of conversions very clearly would lead us to the assumption that New Testament manuscripts were expected to be the icing on the cake of what was found. This is all around 900 AD, over 1100 years ago..
Throughout the known collection of caves, 100+ times the scrolls identify themselves as the sons of Levi and Zadok, the Priesthood of the Old Testment. Levities that took the library in Yarushalom / Jerusalem and exported it to flee “the Wicked Priest” (Johnathan or Judah Macabee according to reknowned translator and commentator, Geza Vermes and others).

They also identify themselves 1 other way— “The Sons Of Light”, an expression we know from the New Testament describing believers in Messiah…
And this should come as no surprise because—
1) John the Baptist lived and also Baptised Yahusha (The Son) at Beth Abarah which we call Qumran today but was pictured on maps (like our cover photo) as late as 1901 until it was changed to cover up the truth.
2) There have been New Testament fragments most notably Mark and 1 Timothy as well as what appears (appears to a supercomputer with all known Greek works that is…) that there are SEVEN other fragments, and what appears (speculation) to be a commentary on Romans. The Cave, Cave 7, was demolished by a Catholic team shortly after this was discovered. What else remained to the cave may be lost, for now, but as more caves have been found maybe as recently as last year, it appears the story is not over yet.
3) The answer of what became of that community should be obvious to anyone that’s made it this far—
They became believers in Messiah, followed him, and preached and were persecuted to the ends of the earth. They became believers in Yahusha the Son, as they had been waiting for Him their whole lives, and even the NT tells us, John’s followers (the Dead Sea community) began to leave Beth Arabah / Qumran and follow Messiah.

2) The Maccabean cover up and the little horn kingdom which started small and then became one is the biggest menaces to ever disgrace the face of the world.
3) Messiah and his followers at Beth Arabah.
4) New Testament manuscripts and practices, ect.
5) The THREE times DSS have been uncovered.
6) The spiritual and historic context of the DSS.
7) An important discussion into “canonicity” and what the long time impact of the Dead Sea Scrolls could be for us today. Are the scrolls simply the library kept by the Levitical priesthood? In their own words, it seems to be the case. Is there a chance some of these documents COULD BE ORIGINALS OR COPIES OF ORIGINALS kept set apart as biblically commanded to do in scripture?? We cannot say for sure. Stay skeptical, and stay tuned for the documentary.
EDITED: #8) Did Paul’s conversion happen in Damascus Syria or Beth Abarah? Did the believers ever go to Syria during the gospel, or is it more likely that Paul meets Yahusha on the road to (new) Damascus, the nickname given to Qumran / Beth Abarah which was only mere miles away from Jerusalem (Yarushalom)?

I will tell you it is my opinion and others that the Dead Sea Scrolls are arguably the most important discovery of all time. They offer us a window into the past, as well as the future.
I chose the name “Voices In The Wilderness”, because I firmly believe that the Dead Sea Scrolls message being revealed, is the final fulfillment of the prophecy of Isaiah 40, John the Baptist and the Community Rules Mission— crying out in the Wildnerness. Our ministry is dedicated to this mission for one simple reason— we believe the mission that was accomplished by the Dead Sea scroll community it just now coming to fruition. John the Baptist and his fiends, the early expecters and also followers of Yahusha, are the voices that will be heard one last time.
And I believe the Dead Sea Scrolls, their untold story, these ‘voices in the wilderness’ will be the key to the last great revival which could very well be beginning right now all over the world. I believe the message these scrolls reveal could change everything for our time. I believe they already are.
As I often tell people, this story has defied time, war, decay, politics, legal battles, religous and historic cover ups, and all against odds, nothing could stand in the way. This is the story that wanted to be told. And it will.
