REAL LIFE MINISTRIES SPOKANE is a non-denominational Christian church that began in February of 2010 with 3 small groups and 30 people. On October 10, 2010 we launched weekly services. We believe everyone of us has been called and empowered to reach this world for Jesus one person at a time. Real Life Ministries was first started in 1998 in Post Falls, Idaho by four families, and has grown to seve

n campuses by following the vision and mission of Christ, who called us to reach the world for Him one person at a time. You don't have to be perfect to be a part of this movement. Jesus accepts as we are...but we realize He won't let us stay there. We are a growing, learning, being changed by Jesus through the power and guidance of the Holy Spirit. We are messed up people that Jesus is called and equipping to represent Him.

Happy Thursday Real Life!

Jesus has always wanted something for us not from us.

We begin a new series this Sunday. This isn’t a series about trying harder or getting your act together. It is a moment for us as a church to see the grace of Jesus in our lives. This is a moment for us to see his presence. To see and feel his love. To step into who he has made us to be. Jesus didn’t come into some world of perfection, he entered the mess of a very broken world. THIS IS REAL LIFE. He brought life and healing and hope to every weary soul. Jesus comes near. He loves, heals and forgives. Jesus is so good. I want to invite you to come this Sunday and enter this fall with a centeredness and a peace that we are all desperate for.

Jesus we surrender this school year to you.

Lord Jesus, we ask you to bless and protect every student. Jesus, we trust you to pour out your grace and love into every one of their hearts. That they would walk confidently in your love and grace.
That they would be protected by your mercy. That they would be filled with your Spirit and power as they walk into this school year. Go ahead of them and pour out your favor on them Jesus. We trust you with this school year.

We ask you to give your wisdom and mercy to our teachers and administrators. Fill them with your love and truth. Your power and understanding. Jesus, that each of these amazing leaders would be filled to overflowing with your goodness. Make them a presence of your love in every school and office. We trust you to pour out your life and light through them this year. Thank for you for their sacrifice and passion for students! Bless them as they serve this year.

We surrender every anxious thought to you. We trust you Lord. We give this school year to you.

The love of Jesus changes us. Changes hearts. Changes difficulty. Changes lives. Changes kids. Changes cities. Changes countries. Jesus’ love is more than any of us can comprehend or fathom. Thank you Jesus for pouring out your love. We will never have that kind of love, only Jesus can make us the sort of people who love the way he does! I am praying for so much right now. Every family still reeling from the fires. Every kid that was impacted through One Heart back to school event. Every new person baptized into Jesus. There are so many people and so much need - only the love of Jesus can cover and protect and meet every person where they are. His love is so amazing.

I am at the airport on the way back from Colombia in South America. A small team from our church just went to explore a partnership opportunity with Compassion international. My heart is so full and so humbled and so overwhelmed at the same time. Jesus’ love is moving so powerfully in our city and in small little villages in the desert of northern Colombia. Jesus, your love is good. He knows every kid we ministered to at our back to school event. He knows every one of these kids in Colombia we just got to meet. Jesus’ love is so so amazing! (More to come on Colombia:)!!
