Our community showed up in incredible ways during the fires, and you’re STILL showing up for each other. Tomorrow, we’re gathering to celebrate that strength, enjoy time with our neighbors, and make some new, happy memories. Everyone is invited And! EVERYTHING is FREE! 🙌

For the past week and a half, you’ve nominated people who stepped up in extraordinary ways during the fires. Our very own Laura Hann, one of the admins of the Five Mile community Facebook group, will present the awards and help us recognize these incredible neighbors.

There’s still healing ahead, and there’s so much worth celebrating in this community. Let’s make room for both.

Bring your family, invite a friend, and come enjoy the afternoon with us. Free for everybody. We’ll see you tomorrow! ☀️

💵 1. DCAP Emergency Cash Assistance
The state has extended wildfire assistance for another 60 days. Eligible households may receive emergency cash through DSHS for immediate needs. Availability depends on eligibility and remaining funds, so apply as soon as possible.

📄 2. Replacing Vital Records
Spokane County’s recovery guide explains how to replace birth and death certificates, marriage and divorce records, driver’s licenses, identification cards, vehicle titles, and professional licenses lost in the fires.

👟 3. Free Shoes and Socks from Fleet Feet
Fleet Feet Spokane is providing free shoes and socks—with personal fittings—to people who lost their homes in the fires. An appointment is required. Please book only one appointment for your entire family.
