A Heartfelt Thank You from Pastor Darin & Sis. Marsha
As we celebrate Pastor Appreciation Month, Pastor Darin and I want to take a moment to turn the appreciation around and say THANK YOU to our precious Promiseland family!
From the bottom of our hearts, we want each and every one of you to know just how much you mean to us. Thank you for your faithfulness, your prayers, your love, your sacrifices, and everything you do, both seen and unseen, to make Promiseland the church that it is today.
We truly could not, and would not want to, do what we do without YOU!
We also want to take a special moment to give honor where honor is due.
Bishop Larry and Sister Judy, there are simply not enough words to express the love, honor, and appreciation we have for you both. Promiseland would not be where it is today without the years of prayer, sacrifice, dedication, tears, and labor of love that you have poured into this church.
You didn’t just build a church. You built a family, a place of refuge, a place of worship, and a place where lives have been forever changed. What you have planted, nurtured, and faithfully cared for continues to bear fruit today.
Pastor Darin and I are so incredibly thankful that we get to lock arms with you both and continue the work that God placed in your hearts so many years ago. We don’t take that privilege lightly. We love you, we honor you, and we thank God for you!
And to our entire Promiseland family, please never forget that YOU are what makes this church so special. It’s not the building, the programs, or the things we do. It’s the people, the love, the unity, and the presence of God that makes Promiseland HOME.
We may be called to lead, but we are so thankful that we get to walk this journey alongside each of you.
You are not just our congregation. You are our family. And we love you more than words could ever express!
So during this Pastor Appreciation Month, we want you all to know that WE APPRECIATE YOU, TOO!
