There is no doubt Christmas has been abused and misused. Very little of what Christmas really is, remains. When Jesus came 2,000 years ago, He brought with Him, everything we need. With Him came Love, Peace, Joy and Hope (Read Luke 2 and Matthew 1). If we live immersed in the Truth of Christmas everyday, then we live lives full of Love, Peace, Joy and Hope. Lives full of Jesus! Of course, when we live with Jesus' first coming surrounding all we are and all we do, then His second coming (which should be very soon) is so real in us, that nothing can defeat us. Let's live out a Real Christmas this year and from now on!

Two thousand years ago, Jesus came, just as the Scriptures promised. Today, the Bible has given us another promise, in that He is coming again. It seems that this 2nd Coming will be very soon. It has already been established that very few were ready for The God, who came to be with us (Immanuel.) The only question now, which of us will be ready, when Jesus comes again. "....... But when the Son of Man returns, how many will he find on the earth who have faith?" Luke 18:8b (NLT) Please, celebrate Christmas, and prepare your hearts for His Return.

Carolyn and I watched "It's a Wonderful Life" last night for the umpteenth time. Who could get tired of this movie? Clarence received his wings, Zuzu recovered, Potter was foiled, and George was recognized as the richest man in town (not because of money). What a wonderful life!

"It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery."
We live in a world (nation) that seems determined to take away our freedom. Christians know that freedom is worth dying for. Jesus died that we might be free from sin, death and hell. No one can take away our spiritual freedom for it is within us, but physical freedoms are delicate and easily lost. In these days, we must be wise and watchful. (By the way, that's Pastor Stan's grandson in the picture.)

The death & resurrection of Jesus Christ is everything! Without the death & resurrection of Jesus Christ, there is nothing: no hope; no tomorrow; no reason to live. However, Jesus did come, and died, to pay the price for our sins, and then, rose from the grave to defeat death. Jesus' victory gives the opportunity for eternal life to everyone. He once came (2,000 years ago), and He is coming again (evidently, very soon). So we must remember, "There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12 NLT).

In a world that rejects Truth and embraces evil, there are still a lot of us who are "not ashamed of the gospel (of Jesus Christ), because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes.......(Romans 1:16). For all Christians, Biblical Prophecy is of the greatest encouragement. In a world that seems to be coming apart at the seems, Biblical Prophecy reminds us that there is a reason behind all this present madness. God is putting all the pieces in place for the Rapture of the Church and after that, the Tribulation. Governor Abbott and the Texas Congress found a way to protect the lives of unborn babies, then President Biden's administration pushed a liberal judge to overturn the abortion ban, but PRAISE GOD, what was stolen has now been restored. Late Friday (10-7-21) afternoon, the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals overturned the liberal judge's ban of the abortion ban. Unborn babies are once again safe in Texas. God is good!

Pastor Stan has been tested for covid-19 and he's negative he does however have pneumonia is in terrible pain please pray for him because of the situation we're canceling the Christmas Thanksgiving dinner this Sunday and we will have it probably after the first of the year so God bless everyone and if you can come on out to church service Sunday
