Another snow day…no school Thursday.

Sherman ISD schools and offices will remain closed Thursday, January 29 due to continued poor road conditions. Classes and extracurricular activities are canceled.

While some road conditions have improved, many others remain icy and difficult to navigate. The district will continue to monitor conditions and provide updates if additional adjustments need to be made to our normal school schedule.

Closed again! We sure miss our students! Hope everyone is staying safe and warm.

Sherman ISD schools and offices will remain closed Wednesday, January 28 due to continued poor road conditions. Classes and extracurricular activities are canceled.

Staff are actively monitoring melting conditions, evaluating roads and inspecting campuses. The district will provide updates if any additional adjustments need to be made to our normal school schedule.

Even though the bag didn’t explode quite like we expected, the kids couldn’t stop giggling as the mixture came pouring out of the mouth 😂👏 Science surprises are the best kind of learning!

As we head into potential winter weather, we want to remind everyone that we follow Sherman ISD for weather-related closures and delays.

As soon as we receive any information, we will post updates first and foremost on Dojo, so please be sure to keep a close eye there.

The safety and well-being of our students and teachers is always our top priority. We will make decisions with everyone’s best interest in mind.

❄️☃️ We are in FULL winter mode at Covenant Presbyterian Preschool! 🧣🧤

We hit the ground running after break and have been having so much fun learning all about winter weather 🌨️, arctic animals 🐧🐻‍❄️, and hibernation 💤❄️

🧠 Fun Preschool Fact: Did you know some animals take a very long nap during winter called hibernation? 🐻😴 They sleep for months to save energy when it’s cold and food is hard to find!
👉 Ask your student which animals hibernate! 🐻🦔🐍
