Seymour Church

Seymour Church Love God. Love People. It is our desire to reach our community with the good news of new life in Christ.

We believe that God has called us to “Love God and Love People.” Our church is "a place to belong," where hurting people can find healing and where searching people can find truth, friendship, and opportunity for personal growth and involvement. We want to make a difference in individual lives, in families, in our community and around the world.

🔥 RUMBLE TONIGHT 🔥

A night of prayer. A night of worship. A night to seek God together.

As we honor Ms. Mary’s legacy, we also step forward in faith, believing God is not finished with what He started.

Come expecting.

RUMBLE | Community Prayer Night

This Friday at 7 PM, we gather for Rumble—a night dedicated to seeking God together through prayer, worship, and the presence of the Holy Spirit.

This month’s Rumble will be held in honor of Ms. Mary Foster. Her faith, her prayers, and her unwavering love for God’s people left a lasting impact on our church family. While we miss her deeply, we are thankful for the legacy she leaves behind.

The greatest way we can honor her is to continue doing what she loved—pursuing the presence of God and believing Him to move in our lives, our families, and our community.

Join us Friday at 7 PM.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Ms. Mary.

Ms. Mary was a faithful servant of the Lord and a treasured part of our church family. We ask that you join us in praying for her family and loved ones during this time.

We will share Celebration of Life service details as soon as arrangements have been finalized and information becomes available.

Thank you for respecting the family’s privacy and covering them in prayer.

“Well done, good and faithful servant.” — Matthew 25:23

What a day! 🌊🙌

Today, 7 people publicly declared their faith in Jesus through baptism!

There’s nothing quite like watching lives transformed by the grace of God and seeing people take their next step in obedience to Him. Every story is different, but every baptism is a testimony that God is still changing lives.

We celebrate with heaven today and rejoice with these 7 individuals as they begin this new chapter in their walk with Christ.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, and see, the new has come!” — 2 Corinthians 5:17

How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news. ❤️

Today, volunteers of all ages came together to prepare sandwiches, serve meals, and share hope with our neighbors under the bridge.

A simple meal may not seem like much, but it reminds people they are seen, valued, and loved.

Thank you to everyone who gave their time and heart to serve today. This is what being the hands and feet of Jesus looks like.

Two things coming up this Sunday!!

First- at 9:30- if you are interested in helping out with Vacation Bible School this year- we are having a volunteer meeting before service. Come and be a part of this year's VBS!!

AFTER Service- we will be having Baptism at the river. Bring your lawn chair and a side dish or dessert! We will be meeting at the Franklin Pavillion on 411 going towards Maryville. If you are wanting to be baptized- please reach out to Pastor Scott, or let a staff member know! We can't wait for this time of fellowship, baptism, (and some pretty delicious BBQ) with our church family!
