Our annual Mardi Gras party is on Tuesday, February 17. We will begin with social hour at 6:00 followed by a dinner at 6:30. As is our long-standing tradition, everyone is asked to bring their favorite Italian dish to share. This will be our "last hoorah" before heading into the penitential season of Lent on Ash Wednesday, February 18.

The Epiphany Proclamation
For The Year of Our Lord Jesus Christ 2026

The Announcement of Easter and the other Feasts and Fasts for the Year 2026, According to the Book of Common Prayer of the Episcopal Church:

Dear Brothers and Sisters: we have rejoiced at the Nativity of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the glory of the Lord has shone upon us and shall ever be manifest among us until the day of His return. Through the rhythms of times and seasons let us celebrate the mysteries of salvation.

ASH WEDNESDAY will occur on the 18th Day of February and mark the beginning of our sacred Lenten days of special devotion that shall be marked by acts of discipline and self-denial, excepting Sundays and the Feast of the Annunciation.

The Feast of the ANNUNCIATION of Jesus Christ to the Blessed Virgin Mary usually occurs on the 25th Day of March and shall be joyfully kept as if a Sunday, without extra discipline of self-denial imposed.

Let us look to the year’s culmination, the EASTER TRIDUUM of the Lord: His last supper, His crucifixion, His burial, and His rising will be celebrated between The Evening of the 2nd Day of April and the Evening of the 4th Day of April.

Each Easter – as on each Sunday – the church makes present the great and saving deed by which Christ has forever conquered sin and death: EASTER SUNDAY being on the 5th Day of April.

Commemorating our Lord further – first having defeated death and manifesting Himself to His disciples – He did ascend to heaven forty days following his resurrection and is seated at the right hand of the Father. ASCENSION DAY being on the 14th Day of May.

The Day of PENTECOST (Whitsunday), the joyful conclusion of the season of Easter, the birthday of the church, and the celebration of the gift of the Holy Spirit will be celebrated on the24th Day of May.

The church’s faith is this: that we worship one God in Trinity, and Trinity in Unity, neither confounding the Persons, nor dividing the Substance. TRINITY SUNDAY will be observed on the 31ST Day of May.

And this year, marked always as the First Sunday of Advent, the Christian New Year will be on the 29th Day of November.

For Jesus Christ, who was, who is, and who is to come. Lord of all time and
history, be endless praise, for ever and ever. Amen.

Collect for the Epiphany: O God, by the leading of the star you manifested your only Son to the peoples of the earth: Lead us, who know you now by faith, to your presence, where we may see your glory face to face; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
