All packed up and ready to donate! Thanks to SOAR, Housing and Residence Life, Building and Grounds Department and all students who contributed to the Empty Your Room, Fill Someone's Need Collection. More than 890 lbs of food, housewares, clothing, books, blankets and toiletries were donated to Friends of the Poor & Catherine McAuley Center, United Neighborhood Centers Angel's Attic, and Pacer Pantry. What a great example of sustainable resource stewardship, Care for Creation, and community partnerships in action.
