This week at St. Luke's as we celebrate Labor Day weekend a reminder that streets around Courthouse Square in downtown Scranton will be closed for La Festa Italiana. Please allow extra time getting to church, especially Saturday evening. We wish everyone a safe and happy Labor Day.
This Thursday our Vacation Bible School for Older Adults begins at 2:00pm, in conjunction with St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church. Join us in Kreitler Hall for memorable Sunday School songs, snacks, crafts, and a discussion of Scripture.
Memorial Bricks for the Warren Memorial Garden will be available to order until the end of September. Order forms are available at the church, or you can order online via the link on our website.
Next weekend we look forward to a Parish Cleanup and Memorial Garden Workday from 10am-12pm. Molly’s Free Pantry cart will also be located in the back of the nave to receive donations of pantry goods and personal items.

Sidewalks in front of St. Luke’s are still being replaced, so once again this weekend please enter the church through the handicap ramp entrance accessible through the Warren Memorial Memorial Garden.
