Greater Phoenix Church Of God A welcoming Greater Phoenix church. Jesus-centered, family-friendly, life-giving community. At 10:30 am we start our services with traditional songs.

What to Expect
Our Sabbath begins at 10:00 am with coffee and deserts and fellowship. After which is followed by prayer and scripture read from the bible. A short time for announcements and member prayer request. This is then followed with a short sermonett by one of our members. We then move into a time of worship with contemporary praise and worship music. Then a message from the bible will be b

rought to us by one of our local speakers or a DVD. After the teaching generally at noon we spend a little time with each other socializing and fellowship. Look forward to you joining us.

Revelation 2:17 promises hidden manna to the one who overcomes.

The manna in the wilderness was a picture. Jesus later said plainly that He is the bread that came down from heaven. It is hidden because it is only understood from inside the walk.

Conviction is uncomfortable. But Tim Threadgill makes the case from scripture that conviction is not punishment. It's invitation. God convicts because He cares. Because He wants to restore. Because revival is on the other side of honest reckoning.

Peter walked with Jesus for three years. He heard every teaching. Witnessed every miracle. And yet, when God told him to eat unclean animals in a vision, his immediate, instinctive response was: "Not so, Lord. I have never eaten anything common or unclean."

If Jesus had changed the food laws, Peter would have known. His instinct tells the whole story.
