🎁🌍 OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD IS HERE! 🎄❤️

It's time to start packing shoeboxes and sharing the love of Jesus with children around the world!

RCC is excited to participate in Operation Christmas Child, a ministry of Samaritan's Purse that delivers gift-filled shoeboxes to children in need while sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ.

📦 Boxes Available: Sunday, November 1

🎁 Filled Boxes Due Back: Sunday, November 22

We invite individuals, families, and children of all ages to participate! Fill a shoebox with fun toys, school supplies, and personal care items to bless a child and help open the door for the Gospel.

🎮🏆 GAME ON! MTV Fall Retreat 2026! 🏆🎮

What an awesome weekend of fun, laughter, friendly competition, and fellowship at our MTV Fall Retreat!

This year's GAME ON! theme brought some of our favorite game shows to life! 🎤 From Family Feud and Jeopardy to The Price Is Right and Deal or No Deal, our students put their knowledge, teamwork, and competitive spirits to the test! We even had our own life-sized Game of Life!

But beyond all the games and competition, the weekend was about something much greater—growing in faith, building friendships, encouraging one another, and learning what it means to run the race of life with purpose. ❤️

We are so thankful for all the students who joined us and the leaders who helped make this weekend possible!

This month, we want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude for Pastor Paul Sommerfeld and his wife, Debra, and Family Pastor Dan Bohyer and his wife, Jennifer!

We are incredibly blessed by their faithful leadership, servant hearts, and dedication to our church family. From preaching and teaching God's Word to encouraging, praying for, and walking alongside others through life's joys and challenges, their ministry makes a lasting impact.

We also recognize and appreciate Debra and Jennifer for the many ways they support their husbands, serve our church, and share in the joys and sacrifices of ministry.

💙 Child Dedication at RCC 💙

What a special blessing it is to celebrate the gift of children and the families God has entrusted them to!

Child dedication is a meaningful opportunity for parents to publicly commit to raising their children to know, love, and follow Jesus Christ. It is also a reminder of the important role our church family plays in coming alongside parents through prayer, encouragement, and support.

“Children are a heritage from the LORD, offspring a reward from him.” — Psalm 127:3

We are thankful for these precious children and their families, and we pray that each child will grow in the knowledge of God's love and one day make a personal decision to follow Christ.

May we, as a church family, faithfully encourage and support the next generation as they grow in faith! ❤️

🌍 PRAY • GIVE • GO | 2026 RCC Mission Conference Recap 🙏

What an encouraging day at our annual Mission Conference!

We were blessed to hear an inspiring message from our guest speaker, Dan Hill, reminding us that missions aren't just about traveling across the world. God has called each of us to be missionaries right where He has placed us—in our neighborhoods, workplaces, schools, and even our own families.

During our luncheon, we heard personal testimonies from eight RCC members who shared how God has been working through recent mission trips and opportunities to serve. From Appalachia and Canada to Uganda and Ghana, it was exciting to hear how God is using ordinary people to do extraordinary things for His glory!

We also invited our church family to share their interests in future mission opportunities as we begin planning for the next two years.

❤️ Our theme was simple: PRAY • GIVE • GO.

Not everyone is called to travel overseas, but everyone can play a part in missions. Whether through faithful prayer, financial support, going on a mission trip, or sharing the love and truth of Jesus with those around us, we all have a role in God's work.

Thank you to everyone who attended, shared testimonies, helped serve, and continues to support missions at RCC!

The mission field isn't just somewhere we go—it's wherever God has placed us.
