Thank you to one of our preschool grandmas (and retired teacher!) for coming in to teach Teacher Kim's class Sign Language. They learned some basics - hello, goodbye, thank you, and lots of animal names. They also learned the song "Baby Shark" 🦈🎶

Teacher Kara’s Preschool Plus class always starts lessons with a special surprise box! 📦✨ Inside are clues that help students discover the focus word of the day.

Recently, the class learned about “pollution” and what can happen when pollutants enter our water. The children went on a mission to save Freddie the Fish 🐟 who began in clean water, but as the story continued, students took turns adding different items that polluted Freddie’s home.

After seeing the effects of pollution firsthand, the students became scientists and engineers by creating their own water filters! Using cups with holes, pebbles, and coffee filters, they watched dirty water go in and cleaner water come out. 💧

Hands-on learning like this helps children build curiosity, problem-solving skills, and a better understanding of how to care for our environment! 🌎💙

☀️ Sunshine & Smiles Teacher Appreciation Week is officially underway at Hosanna! Preschool!

Today we kicked things off with Taco-Bout a Great Teacher 🌮 and our hallways are blooming with sweet sunflower messages created by our students for their teachers & staff 🌻

We are so thankful for the incredible teachers and staff who help our little ones learn, grow, and shine every day ✨
