Today, we celebrate the feast of St. John Paul II, who reminded us that a life rooted in Christ is a life poured out in love.

Every act of kindness, every moment of service, every time we put someone else’s needs before our own is an opportunity to draw closer to God.

We weren’t made to live for ourselves alone. We were made to love generously, serve faithfully, and give our lives to something greater than ourselves.

Day 2 of our first-ever Women’s Summit was a beautiful reminder of the freedom found in Christ and the strength we find in walking together in faith. 💚

We learned to renounce the lies of the enemy and replace them with the truth of who God says we are. We were reminded that we weren’t meant to walk this journey alone. We need holy friendships: women who encourage us, pray with us, speak truth into our lives, and help us grow closer to Jesus.

Together, we learned to pray the Liturgy of the Hours with Sister Rachel and Sister Clara, explored the history and beauty of the Rosary, discovered how to spend time in Adoration, worshipped, and brought our questions to an incredible panel featuring Sarah Swafford, Sister Clara, Sister Rachel, Taylor Tripodi, and Jana Colborn. And, of course, we made space for what mattered most: time with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament and time getting to know the women walking alongside us.

To our wonderful speakers, to the women who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to bring this summit to life, and to every woman who joined us: thank you. Thank you for sharing your wisdom, your gifts, your faith, and your hearts.

Already looking forward to gathering again next year!

A beautiful first night, and a truth worth carrying with us long after the evening ends. 🤍

God loves you. Not because you’ve earned it, but because you are His. You are worthy of love, created with dignity and purpose. And no matter what you carry, He desires to meet you there, bring healing to your heart, and draw you into a deeper relationship with Him.

What a gift to gather as women and be reminded of the truth that changes everything: You are loved. You are seen. You are invited closer.

Thank you to everyone who made our first-ever Women’s Summit so special. This is just the beginning! ✨

If you are attending Mass during Scarecrow Weekend, please be aware that road closures may affect your route to the church and access to nearby parking.

Cedar Street, 4th Street, and 5th Street will be closed from 6:00 AM Thursday, Oct 8, through 7:00 PM Sunday, Oct 11.
