“When it was evening on that day, the first day of the week, and the doors of the house where the disciples had met were locked for fear of the Judeans, Jesus came and stood among them and said, ‘Peace be with you.’ After he said this, he showed them his hands and his side. Then the disciples rejoiced when they saw the Lord. Jesus said to them again, ‘Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you’” (John 20:19-21).

Next Sunday, November 1 is All Saints' Day. On this day, Bethlehem will remember those who have joined the saints triumphant and those who we've welcomed into the church family through the rite of baptism. We hope you will join us in worship at 9:00 am or 10:45 am.

The 10:45 am worship will be followed by a short dedication ceremony for the labyrinth being installed at Bethlehem. Attending this event will be another way you can honor your loved ones on this day of sacred remembrance. We hope you will join us as we recognize this beautiful addition to Bethlehem Lutheran Church.

Today is Reformation Sunday!

The good news of the Reformation is not that a monk got it mostly right five hundred plus years ago. The good news is that Jesus gets it right for us today. We do not have to earn our worth. There is nothing we need to do. We are already loved, already saved, and already set free by the love and grace of God. And it is in that truth and freedom that we go out into the world to love our neighbors.

Bethlehem is a church that is reformed and always being reformed according to the Word of God. God is not finished with the world, and God is certainly not finished with us.

In recognition of the Reformation, we invite you to wear the color red. We look forward to worshiping with you this morning!

Please also plan to join us for our annual Trunk or Treat from 3:00-4:00 pm in the parking lot!

Join us for our Faith Forum this Sunday, October 25 at 10:00 am in Ekstrom Hall! we we'll discuss the questions we never think to ask (until it's too late), with BLC disciple Tim Bergman.

We don’t like to think about our own funeral or the loss of someone we love. But a little planning today can bring tremendous peace of mind to our families tomorrow. Join us for a special Faith Forum as we explore the important questions many of us have never thought to ask until we have to. From funeral wishes and final arrangements to the decisions our loved ones may face, we’ll talk honestly about how planning ahead can be one final act of love and care for those we leave behind.

Come with questions and your own experiences. You may leave with a few things to think about and some important conversations to start as you look toward the future.

Visit bit.ly/FF2627 to see what's coming up at future Faith Forums!
