What a fun day with the BLC team! They enjoyed a great staff outing with hibachi and an escape room adventure. A special shout-out to Leslie and Colin, the resident escape experts, who helped lead the team to victory!

As Pong put it: "I'd still be locked in that room without the help of our wonderful team." 😂

Jesus was missed today, but we all send huge congratulations to his wife and family as they celebrated her citizenship ceremony this morning. What a wonderful milestone!

Presiding Bishop Yehiel Curry has issued his first in a series of monthly messages that will continue through the end of this year under the title "All Together in One Place."

Each message will share a pastoral word, rooted in Scripture, that witnesses to God’s presence today, our rich theological tradition and the social teaching that connects us.

Thank you to everyone who worshiped with BLC today! We give thanks as we celebrate Ron Feltman’s 40th ordination anniversary, bless our students as they prepare to serve on their Appalachia Service Project mission trip to Kentucky, thank Cheryl Martines as she rolls off of serving six years on our council and bless the members of BLC's newly elected council.

We also offer special gratitude to Pong as we celebrate 30 years of faithful service with Bethlehem Preschool Center. Thank you for the many ways you have shared your gifts and touched countless lives!

God's blessings to all as we continue serving, growing, and sharing Christ's love together!

This Holy Trinity Sunday we are reminded that God can and will relate to each one of us in so many ways.

We come from the likeness of God. The creation story found in Genesis 1 insists that God's mark is imprinted on our very being. We might ignore or distort it, but the mark is always there. Whether we acknowledge it or not, we reflect something of God's joy, God's intentions, God's love, and God's beauty just by virtue of existing on earth. We are God’s, and so God is ours.

As baptized children of God, baptized in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, the words you and I hear from Jesus today hold an intimacy and they hold an integrity. Jesus’ words allow us to become more than we can ever be on our own—as we go out into this world and build relationships with others, the sum is greater than its parts. This for sure is a value-added invitation from Jesus!

We look forward to worshiping with you this morning!

Members of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, preschool families, friends, and neighbors are warmly invited to a special Open House Celebration tomorrow, Sunday, May 31 honoring Pong and giving thanks for her 30 years of dedicated service to Bethlehem Preschool Center!

For three decades, Pong has shared her care, kindness, faith, and joyful spirit with generations of children and families. Her loving presence has made Bethlehem Preschool Center a sweeter, brighter place for so many, and we are excited to celebrate this remarkable milestone together.

This open house is a wonderful opportunity for the Bethlehem congregation and the wider community to come together in gratitude, celebration, and fellowship as we honor Pong’s lasting impact on our preschool, church, and all the lives she has touched.

We will have a balloon photo display—so you can take a picture with Pong—along with cake, cookies, and a few candy tables!

Please drop in to celebrate, share your thanks, and enjoy this sweet occasion with us on Sunday, May 31 from 12:00–1:30 pm in Fellowship Hall. We hope to see you there!
