We are excited to be kicking off another school year of our ministries.
Please keep in mind all students entering 5th grade through entering 12th grade are invited to join us Wednesdays at 6:30.
When we meet on campus at the church we have dinner, a Bible study and a game all led by Pastor Jeff himself.
Each on campus meeting we rotate the meals between Chikfila, Zaxbys and Domino's pizza. Once a month we meet at a restaraunt for dinner together.

We are going to reboot our youth group with a trip in early august and a kickoff party the first week of school. More details coming soon!

This week I will be taking my annual trip to Thunder Valley Bristol Dragstrip. This trip is such a blessing as not only do I get to drag race… I get to drag race in the mountains of Tennessee…. and not only do I get to drag race in the mountains, I also have the honor of preaching at the chapel service on Sunday morning.
While I am gone my good friend Mason Reiger will be taking care of the preaching duties during our Sunday morning service at 10:30.
My plan is to leave Tuesday and return Sunday evening, so if you need me feel free to call or text.

We are planning something special for August and we will reboot our every week Youth group dinner/Biblestudy on Wednesday August 12 at 6:30!

Here we are its graduation day for Pedro Menendez High school today.
This is Joe, Joe has been attending our youth group for the past several years and is there every Wednesday.
In the middle of keeping a 4.0 GPA and working at Publix he still made it every Wednesday to youth group.
Joe plans on going into the Air Force and then college for digital art.
Joe we love ya man and we are proud of you!

This is my guy Landon. Landon is graduating from Pedro Menendez High School this Saturday.
He plans to open his own lawn business while he attendscollege at at SJRState to go into physical therapy. Teachers loved him and so did his coaches where he played baseball and golf for four years. . Landon Received the department PE award at Senior Night awards.He is a hard worker making A/B honor roll while playing two sports and working a job in any of his spare time.
We love you Landon and we are proud of you!

Continuing celebrating our graduates, this Saturday our girl Maggie Baker graduates from Pedro Menendez High school.
She works hard in the classroom and also working for the family business after school and on holidays. Maggie was by far the most consistent attendee of our youth kinsey over the past 7 years and she definitely kept me in my toes always double checking the facts for me.
She was in the health academy all 4 years at menendez and earned 2 industry certifications while also I completing an industry certification through the drafting program as well.
She plans to be a surgical technologist through FCTC and hopefully ending up at an outpatient facility.
Maggie we are proud of who you have become and excited to see all that you accomplish in your future!

Today is the day that my buddy Wyatt graduates. This past Sunday we celebrated him in our worship service but the stress of the day got to me and I didn’t do a good enough job describing him in our service.
This guy is himself, I talked a few weeks ago about the importance of being yourself, the best version of yourself and not people pleasing. This guy embodies that 100%. There is not another one like him anywhere, no one close. He says what’s on his mind right when it crosses his mind, he tells you the truth and he does it with humor.
When Wyatt first started attending our youth group many years ago I thought maybe he didn’t like me, maybe he didn’t want to be there but I kept feeding him chikfila and Dr. Peppers and that was the way to his heart. But what I realized is he is strategic with his energy, when he speaks it’s intelligent and clever, and often goes right over your head.
Wyatt leaned at a very young age that the less you say the more valued your words will be to others. Wyatt we are so proud of who you have become and we are excited to see who you continue to become, this may be the end of high school but it’s just the beginning of big things! Your church loves you!
