Our BSF Group for Men meets at Moultrie Baptist Church on Mondays (through the school year) at 6:55pm to 8:25pm. It is an Interdenominational, in-depth Bible Study, designed to get you in a good community of men, help you know God, and serve the Lord. Its open to the public and many from many area churches come. It is our hope that we BSF will help disciple men from all over our area so that they
can go back to their churches and serve the Lord. In BSF, every week, men gather together to study the Bible, learn from one another and are challenged and encouraged to live for something larger than themselves. A BSF Men’s group offers straight talk and biblical truth built on the foundation of Jesus Christ. Exploring God’s Word together allows men to learn from one another, be challenged and encourage each other to live for something larger than themselves. During the week, members spend time in personal study of the Scriptures with questions that prompt deeper thought. Once a week they meet in-person or online for small-group discussion around what they’ve read. They also have access to a teaching that applies the truths of Scripture to daily life along with comprehensive lesson notes on the passage they studied. Bible Study Fellowship is a global, in-depth Bible study producing passionate commitment to Christ, His Word and His Church. BSF’s class members and leaders serve the Church around the world. They lead small groups, teach Sunday school classes, serve on church boards and committees, pray for pastors and the work of the Church and serve in missions and other outreach ministries. BSF’s global headquarters in San Antonio, Texas, serves and supports its class leaders by training area personnel and teaching leaders. BSF students can also download lesson questions online and take advantage of other resources on our website. There is no cost to attend a BSF class. Fifty years ago, Dr. Ernest Hastings invited A. Wetherell Johnson to teach a Bible study at a church in Melrose, California. Today, more than 2,000 churches around the world host BSF classes and groups. The Lord worked through Dr. Hastings, Miss Johnson and the BSF board, composed of laity and pastors, to develop a lay-led teaching and training ministry of interdenominational Bible classes that would produce a passionate commitment to Christ and His Church.
