Memorial Lutheran Church of the Martyrs - ELCA This is Christ's church. There is a place for you here. We are the church that shares a living, daring confidence in God's grace.

Memorial Lutheran Church was born a mission church in December 1924 in downtown St. Augustine, with just a handful of charter members. The church moved to the new facility in 1977, and now has over 500 baptized members. We are a parish of the ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church in America) and the Florida-Bahamas Synod. We are a body of believers who extend a warm welcome for you to come and worship

the Lord with us. Worship Services with Holy Communion are celebrated every Sunday. Traditional worship service is at 8:00am and the contemporary service with children’s sermon is at 10:30am. Sunday School for all ages is offered between services at 9:15. We have many opportunities for Bible study, prayer, service, and fellowship.

Build your family’s faith by worshipping WITH your children in an atmosphere of love and welcome each week at 9:30am at Sunday Chapel at Memorial Lutheran Church! Children of all ages are honored and included in our quick and interactive service which includes Holy Communion. This week Jesus is teaching us the story of Ten Outcasts. People with leprosy were total outcasts in Jesus’ day. There was no medical treatment, so they lived on their own, away from everyone else. Jesus crossed social boundaries to heal ten people with leprosy, but only one returned to say thank you. Jesus wondered why the others didn’t return but praised the one for his gratitude.
