Coming this fall! Have fun and learn God’s Word with us! Children and youth will have lessons and activities from Answers in Genesis’s “Answers Bible Curriculum” and then have free time for fun and fellowship. Adults will have a deep dive discussion on the Scripture passage from the morning worship service.

Join us for worship tomorrow morning at 11! We will be looking at Daniel 10, and the sermon title is “Angels Among Us” but it could have been called, “The Truth About Angels” or “Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Angels But Were Afraid to Ask.” Know this: God loves you and has provided everything you need to know and serve Him in this life and to spend eternity with Him afterwards. Sad and scary things happen in this world, but we are not alone. Join us to be informed and encouraged by the great truth of God’s Word!

Southerners, don’t forget! This evening we start back with our fellowship meal at 6 pm, followed by our new prayer meeting format at 6:30. Everyone is welcome to attend! Choir practice will start at 7 pm as usual. Our formal youth and children meetings will start back on Sunday, September 13th, but they are encouraged to come to eat and pray with us and then are welcome to play in the Christian Life Center for a little while after prayer meeting. It’s sweet to gather together in fellowship and pray for our church and our community so come and join us! The menu for this evening is lasagna, garlic bread, and salad.

When it comes to studying Bible prophecy, there are fewer passages more exciting than Daniel 9: 20-27. Properly understood, it gives us a timeline that shows beyond a doubt that the Messiah spoken of can be no one but Jesus. It is also key to understanding many New Testament passages that tell us about the end of the age. However, Daniel's prayer in the bulk of chapter 9 is a perfect example of what prevailing prayer looks like and deserves thorough study as well. The vision he receives is in answer to that prayer, after all! Join us this morning at Southern Baptist Church as we explore Daniel 9. If you have been yearning for a whole fresh start in your relationship to our Lord, He's calling you to His house today.
