Looking forward to Sunday already! It’s Father’s Day and we’ll be looking at Daniel 4, where King Nebuchadnezzar learns a valuable lesson, which also tells us something beautiful about the Fatherhood of God. We will also be hearing a testimony from our John Myers about powerful lessons he has learned in his own walk with the Lord. Make plans to join us on Sunday! Sunday school for all ages starts at 10 with worship at 11.

Friends, don’t forget we do have prayer meeting this evening starting at 6:30 pm , followed by choir practice at 7. We will be looking at Isaiah 13 and the amazing prophecy about Babylon, which ties right in with our Sunday studies on Daniel. Keep the family of Annette Dalton in your prayers, she is at the hospice house and will soon be with the Lord. This is Pam Hodge’s mother. Pray for Yavonne Buckner. We praise God her valve replacement surgery went well and we pray for her recovery.

Just got a few pictures at our Bluegrass and Barbecue Festival but you can see it was a full house! The food was great, special thanks to Fergie’s BBQ for cooking our meat, and the music was amazing as always! We’re so grateful to New Primitive for being so good to us over the past five years. Best of all, we were able to raise $3,719 for the Pearson family! Thank you to all the members of Southern Baptist Church who helped set up, made food, served it, and helped clean up. If you are looking for a church family that loves Jesus and our neighbors we invite you to come and join us, you can start tomorrow at 11 am!

Good morning, friends! A reminder that due to the school year’s end, we will not be having our weekly family dinner this evening. RAs, GAs, and youth are also on break. We will still be having prayer meeting, however, at 6:30 pm. We will be exploring Isaiah 7. And choir practice follows at 7. Come for the studying and stay for the singing!
