Sometimes the Lord throws the preacher a curveball! I said in my sermon yesterday that I would be taking us through selected passages in Acts this summer as a sequel to our study of the gospel of Luke. I wasn’t quite feeling that though, especially with the plan to tackle the book of Revelation starting this fall. If we’re going to take that book on, we need to have a background in the Old Testament prophets, especially Daniel. So after a little back and forth about it, I’ve decided to declare Summer 2026 as “The Summer of Daniel!” This Sunday, we’ll start in chapter 1 and we’ll hit the highlights, so that when September rolls around, we’ll be ready to begin Revelation. This will be a fascinating and inspiring journey, and I hope you will join us! It all kicks off this Sunday at 11 am! Also, this Sunday, we’ll hear a testimony from our Sarah Skipper. You won’t want to miss it!
