Have you ever felt distant from God, too busy or too broken to find your way back? This week's message reminded us that God never moves -- we do. Like Jacob, who encountered God at Bethel and still spent years wrestling with his own pride and plans, we often know about God without truly living for Him.

The call this morning was simple but powerful: go back to Bethel. Go back to the place where you first encountered the living God. Whether life has gotten too busy, too blurry, or too loud, God is still speaking -- asking the same question He asked Peter: "Do you love me? Then follow me." (John 21)

As we gathered around the Lord's table, we were reminded of the staggering cost of Christ's sacrifice -- and the invitation to stop wrestling with God and fully surrender to Him.

Are you living for yourself, or living for God? There is no better day than today to go back to Bethel.

This Sunday, we conclude our three-part vision series at Sandy Springs First Baptist Church with the final declaration:

WE LIVE FOR HIM.

We’ve learned that our vision begins with recognizing who God is:

WE GLORIFY HIM.

Because He is worthy, we respond:

WE SURRENDER TO HIM.

But surrender is not the end—it is the beginning of a life completely devoted to Jesus:

WE LIVE FOR HIM.

Through the stories of Jacob and Peter, we’ll see that failure, wandering, and seasons of struggling with God do not have to be the end of our story. God calls His people back. He restores us, transforms us, and calls us once again:

“Follow Me.”

The question this Sunday is simple but deeply personal:

Does the way I live show that I belong to Jesus?

Join us as we bring our entire vision together and discover what it means to live every day for the glory of God.

WE GLORIFY HIM.
WE SURRENDER TO HIM.
WE LIVE FOR HIM.

INTRODUCING — FAITH IN FOCUS

We’re excited to introduce a new ministry from Sandy Springs First Baptist Church: Faith in Focus — A Bible Study Podcast.

Every Sunday evening and Wednesday evening, we gather for Bible study, prayer, and fellowship. These services are intentionally more personal, and because we often share specific prayer needs and concerns, we do not livestream them.

But we also know that many would love to be part of the Bible teaching who simply cannot be there.

Some are homebound. Some are working. Some are traveling. Others may be sick, caring for family, or simply unable to attend.

Faith in Focus is for you.

We will record the Bible teaching from our Sunday and Wednesday evening services and make it available afterward so you can listen and study with us wherever you are.

The same teaching.
The same truth.
Available anytime.

Our prayer is simple: that Faith in Focus will help you grow deeper in God’s Word, strengthen your faith, and remind you that even when you cannot be with us in person, you are still an important part of our church family.
