“In all things be thankful.” It's easy to be thankful when life is going our way, but what about those days when it isn't? Easier said than done, right?

Being thankful doesn't mean everything is perfect or that we never have hard days. It means remembering that even in the middle of life's ups and downs, there's still good to be found and plenty of reasons to thank God. 🙌

Remember to look for those little blessings today and give thanks!

It's more than a song, it's a moment of surrender.

Life gets busy. Our minds get pulled in a hundred different directions, and sometimes we get so caught up in everything going on that we forget to stop and turn our attention back to God.

But worship is more than a song we sing on Sunday. It's a moment of surrender. It's choosing to bow before Him, acknowledge Him, and give Him the place He deserves in our lives.

So today, wherever you are and whatever you're facing, take a moment to say, “Here I am, Lord.”

Truth is, sometimes we keep asking God to move the mountain. We pray for the situation to change. For the problem to go away. For the road ahead to get a little easier.

And there's nothing wrong with asking God for those things! But sometimes, the mountain doesn't move when we want it to. And we're left wondering what comes next.

Maybe the prayer needs to shift a little. Instead of only asking God to change what's in front of us, we can ask Him to give us the strength, wisdom, and courage to face it.

Sometimes God changes our circumstances. And sometimes He helps us find the strength to keep climbing. And, no matter where you're standing today, He's right there with you, so don't give up!

It's easy to get caught up in everything life throws at us. The to-do lists, the worries, the things we need to figure out, and all the things we can't seem to stop thinking about!

But Matthew 6:33 reminds us to seek first His kingdom and His righteousness (NIV).

Before we get wrapped up in everything this week may bring, let's remember what's most important. Make time for God. Bring Him your worries. Let Him guide your steps.

We don't have to have everything figured out before our feet hit the floor. Let's just make sure we're putting God first as we go. ❤️

Ever have one of those days when your thoughts and feelings just seem to get the best of you?

Maybe you're overwhelmed. Maybe you're discouraged. Maybe you're dealing with something that just doesn't seem to be getting any easier.

Psalm 42:5 says, “Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God...” (NIV)

Notice that the writer doesn't pretend everything is okay. He's honest about how he's feeling, but he also reminds himself where his hope comes from.

And sometimes, that's something we need to do, too. ❤️

That doesn't mean our struggles suddenly disappear when we put our trust in God. Some seasons are hard, and some struggles take time, support, and even professional help to work through.

But in the middle of it all, we can remind ourselves of God's goodness. We can remember the ways He's carried us before, lean on Him today, and hold on to the hope that our present circumstances aren't the whole story.

You don't have to pretend you're okay to put your hope in God. And you don't have to walk through the hard stuff alone.
