THAT THURSDAY THING - 05/07/2026

“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.”
Psalm 119:105

The word of God is quick, the word of God is powerful, and the word of God is sharper than any two-edged sword. This is not an invitation to bring a Bible to a sword fight, because the Word of God is not a physical weapon. Instead the writer of Hebrews, presumably Paul, says that the Word of God is able to discern the thoughts and intents of the heart.

The psalmist David said “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” When we listen to God’s word through reading it we have the ability to hear His voice in a way like no other. When in doubt, the Child of God can find reassuring words throughout the Bible. When in sorrow, the Child of God can find words like “Blessed are they who mourn for they shall be comforted.” When tired, the Child of God can find words like “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

In every situation, guidance comes from the word of God. In every storm, true peace comes from the word of God through the Spirit of God. Every time that a Child of God is confused there is direction to be found in God’s word. It is mortally impossible to read the entire Bible in one day, however, after enough time in God’s word, you will begin remembering scriptures, hiding it in your heart, so that when it comes time to need those words of Comfort and Peace, the Holy Spirit can direct you through the word.

THAT THURSDAY THING (4/23/2026)

“Looking Back” is a collection of songs I’ve released over the past 7 years of music ministry.

I’ve been blessed to record many great songs that the Lord has allowed over the years. I have compiled this collection and titled it “Looking Back”. These are the songs that have defined me and shaped my ministry through the years. The songs that when I first heard them, found a resonance that still echoes to this day. The Lord has used the lyrics of these songs to encourage me time after time.

Later in the year, my goal is to release a collection of songs both brand new and new to me. But for now, I’m going to keep singing these songs, knowing what God has done for me through them, and “Looking Back” at His goodness.

Orders for this new recording will begin Tomorrow, Friday, April 24, 2026 and will ship as soon as the physical copies arrive (next week).
