Who’s ready for round 2 of the yard sale?!
Friday and Saturday, from 9-3, swing on by NUBF to find some treasures.

Even if you came last weekend, I highly recommend coming again, as there are going to be NEW ITEMS, most items will be 50% OFF, and there is no possible way that you looked at everything the last time you were here anyways. 😅

P.S. there are a lot more pictures on previous posts, and I have not gotten pictures of the new items coming in.

In case you didn’t hear, we will be having THE Yard Sale both this weekend AND next weekend. We will be open from 9-3 on Friday the 4th, Saturday the 5th, Monday the 7th, Friday the 11th, and Saturday the 12th.

Opening for two weeks is (to my knowledge) unprecedented, in part due to the quantity of items that have been donated. We will do our best to keep things organized throughout, but please try to be respectful to future shoppers as you dig for treasures, and be kind to our lovely volunteers. ♥️

SAVE THE DATE:
September 4th ,5th, and 7th (Fri, Sat, Mon) we will be having a yard sale at NUBF. Set aside a couple of hours to come dig for buried treasure—there is so much stuff! We will be open from 9-3 each of those days.
Here are some low quality pictures just to show a bit of the quantity, though there are some other spaces with items as well. I will take some better pictures in the next few days.

From Pastor Ron:
As many of you are already aware, we are currently without power in and around Glide which puts our morning church service in limbo. We could sit in the dark, do acoustic worship, and Ron could speak without a microphone. But while we might be able to tolerate the lack of air conditioning, we can’t allow people to gather in a building without water.

We have plans to construct a system that will allow us to employ generators to provide power to essential systems, but those plans are still on the drawing board. Needless to say, events like this do enhance our sense of urgency about that project.

Pacific Power currently estimates return of power at 11 a.m. and we know from experience that their estimates tend to run longer than the outages themselves. So, it’s possible that this will be a false alarm and all will be well by 10 a.m. With that in mind, the plan is to meet as usual and expect a miracle. Let’s pray that God will show us the light.

Tonight, we are excited to share some of the fun we had at VBS this week with families of our students, and we are looking forward to even more fun on Sunday with a Roman Marketplace after church for all to attend.

To whom it may concern: our usual programs are still running for tonight! Meal at 6 before splitting off for Men’s Bible Study, Women’s Bible Study, and Youth Group. The Women’s Bible Study that usually meets on Thursday morning, however, will be taking a week off due to VBS. 📖

If you want to know more about our Bible Studies, we’ve got a post pinned to the top of our page that gives more information, as well as a website that we do try to keep up-to-date. We are also happy to answer any questions 😊

We’ve got two more days of VBS, and a couple special events coming up as well. Y’all are still praying for us, right?
