Magnificat Presents Some Women Episode 14

In this episode, Dr. Elizabeth Kim joins Angela, Jackie, and Pat in discussing the Mind
of Christ and Psychology. The panel will explore how to know the mind of Christ vs our own minds as we discern the will of God, consolation vs desolation, and the importance of spiritual direction and professional psychological healing service.

As a Director of the Brain Fitness Center in Orange County, California, Dr. Elizabeth
Kim’s multi-ethnic, dynamic practice as a licensed psychologist, marriage and family
therapist, and a board-certified Neurofeedback practitioner, is the perfect setting for her vast experience in the healing arts which she places under the Lordship of Jesus, the Healer.

Elizabeth received a miraculous healing after the Baptism in the Holy Spirit and 54 Day Rosary Novena. In experiencing Abba Father’s tremendous love pouring into her heart and encountering The Living Jesus, she had a radical conversion. This began the most profound and meaningful journey of transformation of a whole person in the grace of the Most Holy Trinity.

Dr. Kim has served the Church in various positions including Youth and Healing Ministry, Prayer Team Ministry, as a member of the Board of Directors for SCRC (Southern California Renewal Communities), and as a speaker at conferences. Her love and zeal for spreading the Good News brought her to speaking at numerous Magnificat Chapter Meals. Her testimony has aired on EWTN Radio. She appeared on EWTN TV’s Women of Grace featuring “Magnificat Proclaims”. Presently, she is a coordinator for the Orange County Chapter of Magnificat Ministry.

“What will separate us from the love of Christ? Will anguish, or distress, or persecution or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or the sword? No, in all these things we conquer overwhelmingly through him who loved us.” (Romans 8:35, 37)

We had another faith-filled Magnificat breakfast meal this morning at St. Pius X Parish. It was a wonderful event featuring guest speaker Alexandra Andrews. She shared the powerful ways God has carried out His plan for her life. From being an abortion survivor to becoming a pro-life speaker she revealed the many difficulties she has faced and the healing and mercy God has provided through forgiveness. We were all truly blessed to hear her testimony.
With another delicious breakfast cooked and served by the Knight of Columbus, Raffle theme "Life is a Gift", Praise and Worship music led by Steve and Denise, Ferverino by Fr. Ed Palumbos, it was a beautiful way to celebrate Life.
Hope to see you at the next Magnificat event on September 12 with guest speaker Colleen Antonio.

Who were the women that followed Jesus and his disciples? Why and how do we follow and serve Him today? Various topics such as growing in holiness, community, living a Holy Spirit lifestyle, Spiritual warfare, nurturing a prayer life, and more, will be considered in the light of Sacred Scripture and teachings of the Catholic Church. Join us as we pray, learn, and experience what God can do in our lives if we let Him!
