Open Door Kidz

Open Door Kidz is a ministry of Open Door Baptist Church to families with children, Birth - 5th Grade.

We strive to encourage our youth to walk closely with God, and we foster a church community of children, parents, and leaders.

Hello Open Door Kidz Families! We are encouraging the children to bring in non-perishable foods so they can show the love of Christ to someone in need this Thanksgiving! Items can be dropped off in the Shout room on the counter. Thank you!

Tomorrow (Wednesday) at 6:30pm is our last Reducing the Risk Class before Kidzcamp. Here at ODBC, room 207 on Wednesday, July 12th. We ask that anyone working with the kids at Kidzcamp in any capacity attend one of our Reducing the Risk classes prior to the start of Kidzcamp. *If you’ve already attended the class in the past, there is no need to attend again.
Tonight is also our last Gospel Training Class at 6:30pm. This is mandatory for all Kidzcamp coaches. *If you already attended on July 5th, there is no need to attend tonight as well.

Attention Kidzcamp 2023 volunteers! Mark your calendars for the first two Wednesdays in July! We are offering our Gospel Training Class and the Reducing the Risk Class on July 5th and July 12th.
1. Reducing the Risk Class:
Anyone working with the kids at Kidzcamp in any capacity MUST attend one of our Reducing the Risk classes prior to the start of Kidzcamp. Reducing the Risk classes will be held here at church in room 207. *If you’ve already attended the class before, there is no need to attend again.
2. Gospel Training Class:
This class will be held Wednesday, July 5th and July 12th at 6:30pm prior to camp. It is mandatory for all Kidzcamp staff who will be serving as coaches. Any other Kidzcamp staff are welcome to (but not required to) attend as well. Join us here at church for this class.

Father’s Day is this weekend, on June 18th! Please remember there will be no downstairs kidz activities for kids ages Pre-K through 5th grade. Our beginner wing will remain open for ages newborn through 3 yrs. We’ll have kids activities available for those in main service!
