Under the banner "Caleb Ministries," 11HCI is serving the local Rochester, NY community. The Eleventh Hour Laborers
Who are these 11th Hour Laborers? They are the believers whom others have discounted, that “no one wanted to hire.” But God, in the eleventh hour, is now employing them to complete His Commission. (Matthew 20:1-16)
Where do they come from? They come from countries such as…. South K
orea – which is now the second-largest foreign mission-sending nation on earth. Thousands of Korean missionaries are serving in nations all over the world; many have gone to radical Islamic nations to minister at the risk of losing their own lives. China – where Chinese believers are on a mission to send 100,000 missionaries westward to unevangelized countries, and all the way to Jerusalem where Christianity first began. Brazil – where Brazilian missionaries and church planters are being launched to do the work of evangelism and discipleship in backslidden countries of Europe, and to countries in Asia where Christians make up less than 3% of the population. Nigeria – where Nigerian pastors and missionaries are going to countries in Africa, Europe, North America, and Asia, bringing needed spiritual revitalization and renewal. Cuba – where Cuban churches are proactively training and preparing missionaries to go to countries that were once influenced by Cuba to become Communist, but now to influence them to become devout followers of the Lord Jesus Christ. How can we support the 11th Hour Christian Laborers?
• With our prayers and intercession….the spiritual attacks against them are relentless. Many have been martyred while serving in hostile regions of the world.
• With encouragement and support….they must be reminded that their labor is not in vain, and it is through our prayers and financial giving that we can significantly strengthen their hands for the challenging work which God has called them to do.
• With training in cross cultural evangelism and missions…..adequate preparation and training are essential ingredients to fruitful and healthy missionary service. We must help them to avoid the mistakes that were made by previous generations of missionaries.
• With our partnership…not as lords and bosses but rather as equals and yokefellows; we are called to serve together in God’s endtime harvest.
