“Faith Under Pressure”
• Giants can be stopped.
• Man have messed with creation that was not created by God.
• Our bodies are made to heal itself but bc of the things we put into our bodies it cause us to seek medical attention.
• David was described as a warrior, a fine looking man & well spoken. He wasn’t a Soilder he worked in the field.
• David had a resume no one knew about: he had already killed a lion & bear protecting his sheep. He killed them with his bare hands which took strength courage & confidence & gave the credit to God.
• David always carried a staff sling & a rod. His strength was functional not showy and kept His dependence on God.
• The statue was important bc you don’t need a warrior
• David wasn’t tall & Saul told David to put on his armor but he couldn’t wear his armor bc it wasn’t the plan of God. When you’re at the height of your battle the enemy will send someone to distract you but if you’re in tune with the holy spirit
• God was preparing David for Goliath. Goliath ran his mouth and intimidated them for 40 days. He was an expert at a sling & an expert as a musician to sooth the sheep.
• Faith acts before the victory is visible. David ran towards the giant even before he knew that the stones worked. was prewent with God
• Goliath’s riff wasn’t necessarily with David, it was with David’s God — so it wasn’t personal it was all spiritual.
• Don’t underestimate small things.
• David had 5 smooth stones and it was smooth bc they glide — God use prepared You can’t go to a fight unprepared.
• David walked in confidence. So today, be specific don’t pray vague prayers so that they can hit the target.
• Have a prayer life and if you don’t have a prayer life call someone who does so that they can get a prayer through
• Be practiced and be ready to reload. Once you hit that one giant the right way it won’t come back again bc they were a fallen giant.
• Gotta have endurance and a skill set. What was made to kill you made you stronger brought you out and help someone else out (Genesis 50:20).
• God never said the weapon wouldn’t form He said the weapon wouldn’t prosper. No weapon formed against you shall prosper
(Isaiah 54:17).
• When you’re trying to fight a battle with sickness or people talking about you go to God bc the battle is not yours it’s the Lords (2 Chronicles 20:15).
• God knows the plans He has for you plans to prosper you not to harm you to give you a hope & future (Jeremiah 29:11) but all you have to do is believe it.
• Everything that you’re going through & everything that you went through it’s to conquer your giants
• So you have to keep on your full armor of God to protect yourself & in order to defeat your giants (Ephesians 6:12).
• Just know that everything you’re going through, it’s for a purpose & for God to get the Glory!
