Let’s Get Dressed 👔🛡️

This Sunday, Rev. Maggie Moore preached a fiery word from Ephesians 6:10-17, reminding us that if we’re going to stand against the challenges of life, we must be properly dressed in the full armor of God.

From the Belt of Truth to the Sword of the Spirit, she challenged us to stop leaving pieces of our spiritual wardrobe behind and to show up every day clothed in God’s strength, protection, and purpose.

And if the preaching wasn’t enough, Rev. Moore sang the gospel too! The choir did their thing! The Spirit moved, hearts were stirred, and she brought the Memorial house down. What a powerful worship experience!

As we move through this week, ask yourself: Am I fully dressed for the battles and blessings ahead?

Today’s message from Acts 2 reminded us that when we lean on Jesus and allow the Holy Spirit to truly change us, we will never be the same. 🔥

The Holy Spirit teaches us to speak with love, show kindness, and extend grace to one another. Pastor Dairl L. Scott Jr. reminded us, at the House and online, that everyone may express their praise differently, but sincere worship is always precious to God. 🙌🏽✨

And how precious was that youth choir today? Hallelujah!
