250+ candy bags packed and ready to go! 🍬🎃

This Sunday, we stuck around after church to pack candy bags for our town’s Trunk or Treat—and we had a blast doing it together.

Why do we do things like this? Because we believe the church should be known for loving and serving the community around us. We want our neighbors to know that we’re here, we care about them, and there’s a church in Rochester that is FOR them.

Sometimes living and loving like Jesus looks like a big moment. And sometimes it looks like packing 250+ bags of candy and handing them out with a smile. ❤️

Our food pantry shelves aren’t empty because we don’t have food.

They’re empty because the need in our community is that great.

Every Sunday, because of the incredible generosity of our CityHope family, we restock these shelves. And often by Monday or Tuesday, we’re already looking at empty spaces again.

That means families are coming.
Neighbors are asking for help.
People are trying to make groceries stretch just a little bit further.

And we get the privilege of meeting them there.

This is what it looks like to live and love like Jesus—not just talking about loving our neighbors, but making sure there’s food on the table when someone needs it.

So we’ll keep stocking.
We’ll keep giving.
We’ll keep opening our doors.
And we’ll keep showing up for our community.

If you’d like to help us keep the shelves full, we’d love for you to bring pantry donations with you this Sunday.

The need is great. But so is the generosity of God’s people. ❤️
