Last week, our OCIA team sat with people who said, “We’re ready.”
Then we counted what God has been doing: 17 entered the Church or finished Sacraments of Initiation in the past year.

Right now, another 17 are registered for the next OCIA session—preparing through prayer, study, and formation to step fully into the life of grace.
And for many adults, Welcome and small groups are becoming the first “yes” to community: nearly 30 new attendees over two retreat weekends.

In May 2026, our “Silent Saint” award went to Cathy Solum, presented by Father Phil at Our Lady of Lourdes. It’s a reminder that mission isn’t always loud; sometimes it’s steady service, prayer, and care that others only notice because it lifts them.

We’re grateful for Cathy (and for every nominee) who chooses love in the everyday.

Two graduations, and two groups of parish families holding the same proud moment, graduation photos still warm, hearts full.

Seniors and eighth graders: you showed up, worked hard, and carried your “yes” to the next chapter into classrooms and chapel alike. We’re grateful for the way you’ve grown in faith, learned with your whole minds, and loved your community along the way.

We ask God to bless your next steps; steady in courage, rooted in hope, and ready to serve.

We’re seeing unsolicited Advertising Insertion Orders targeting Catholic business owners—often for a “6-Month Web Listing” around $395.00—made to look official, complete with a reference number, due date, and a page that asks for signature and payment details.

Here’s how to protect our community:

Do not sign.
Do not provide payment info.
Do not return the form.

If you receive one, discard it. And please share the warning with whoever handles invoices and payments in your office—these slips can get missed when multiple people touch the mail.

Summer is almost here, and the Great Adventure Youth Group is kicking things off on Wednesday, June 3rd! We will be sharing a meal together, playing some fun games, and diving into the Fruits of the Holy Spirit. WAY TO GO!!!

A team of St. Joseph sixth graders didn’t just compete at the VEX Robotics World Championship in St. Louis. They walked out with the tournament’s top honor and made state history in the process.
