Does Jesus know you?

Matthew 7:21–23 gives us a serious warning. Many people will call Jesus “Lord,” speak in His name, and even point to their religious works. Yet Jesus will say, “I never knew you.”

Knowing about Jesus is not the same as knowing Jesus.

Church attendance, ministry, spiritual gifts, titles, and religious activity cannot replace a genuine relationship with Christ. The question is not only, “What have I done for Jesus?” but, “Do I truly know Jesus, and does my life show that I belong to Him?”

Jesus said, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me” (John 10:27).

Do you hear His voice? Are you following Him? Does your private life agree with your public confession?

Do not settle for knowing His name. Know His heart. Abide in Him. Follow Him. Love Him. Obey Him.

The greatest question is not simply, “Do you know Jesus?”

It is:

DOES JESUS KNOW YOU?

There comes a point in our lives when we have to make a decision: Do I continue believing what I have always heard, or do I seek the truth for myself?

Real change begins when we decide to search for truth, not simply in people's opinions, traditions, social media, circumstances, or even our own feelings, but in the One who IS Truth.

Jesus said:

“If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
John 8:31–32 (ESV)

Notice that Jesus didn't simply say, “You will hear the truth.” He said, “You will know the truth.”

There is a difference.

When we abide in His Word, we begin to know Him for ourselves. His Word begins to expose what is false, correct what we have misunderstood, heal what has been wounded, and transform the way we think, live, love, forgive, and see others.

Sometimes change requires us to have the courage to ask questions. To search the Scriptures. To examine what we have been taught. To lay aside pride, fear, assumptions, and even traditions when they do not agree with the Word of God.

And the beautiful thing about Jesus is that truth and love are not separated in Him.

He is Truth.
He is Love.
He is the One who sets us free.

My prayer is not that people simply accept what I say, but that we all learn to go back to the reliable Source, the Word of God, and seek Jesus for ourselves.

Because when you truly encounter Jesus, truth doesn't merely give you information.

Truth changes you.
Truth heals you.
Truth frees you.

And in the end, it has only ever been about Him.

Jesus.

From Information to Transformation

The Church does not need more information about God, we need hearts that are fully surrendered to Him.

True revival is marked by repentance, prayer, obedience, and a deep hunger for God's presence. Throughout Scripture and history, God's fire has always fallen on prepared hearts.

As followers of Christ, let us recommit ourselves to daily prayer, the study of God's Word, fasting, and faithful obedience.

God provides the fire, but we must prepare the altar.

"If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me." — Luke 9:23

Protect your goals.

Not everyone deserves access to your vision.
When you share your goals too early, the wrong voices can plant doubt before you’ve even built momentum. Not always out of malice — often out of limitation.

Many people aren’t resisting your goals… they’re reacting from their own lack of direction. And that energy can quietly weaken your focus if you let it in too soon.

Be intentional about who you speak to. Share your goals with people who are building, growing, and moving forward themselves — and with those who directly support your path.
Otherwise, let your results do the talking.

Focus in silence. Build in discipline. Let success introduce you.

Sometimes God allows us to walk through difficult seasons, not to destroy us, but to develop us.

The same God who allows the process also provides the strength to endure it. The same God who permits the testing supplies the grace to overcome it. What feels like a knockdown today may be God's preparation for your lifting tomorrow.

Remember, the same power that sustains you in the valley is the same power that will raise you up in victory.

If you are facing challenges, delays, disappointments, or battles that seem overwhelming, do not lose heart. God is still working. Your setback is not your final destination. Keep trusting, keep believing, and keep moving forward.

Don't mistake the knockdown for rejection.

Many of God's greatest servants went through seasons of delay, disappointment, and isolation before stepping into their purpose. Daniel, Joseph, David, and Moses all experienced preparation before promotion.

The valley is not your destination, it is part of the process.

If God allowed this season, trust that He is building your faith, strengthening your character, and preparing you for what's ahead.

His promises remain. His purpose remains. His hand is still upon your life.

Rise up and keep moving forward. God has already planned the lifting.
