Pastor's Notes

Away on vacation this week, so hoping all is well. Thanks to Fr. Steve and Fr. Tony for filling in. This newsletter will cover for two weeks.

This weekend is the Feast of Corpus Christi. After the 10am Mass there will be a Eucharistic Procession around the Church and School. Please do participate in this.

FYI to all parents with babies, there is a changing table in the East side bathroom. Please be sure to use that rather than the cry room.

Below are listed the June anniversaries. I want to give a big shout out to Roger and Gail Trounday celebrating 70 years of married life. That is something to be celebrated by all.

Stewardship

2nd Collection this weekend (June 6/7) for the Communications Campaign. A National collection to help evangelize.

CSA 2026 Thanks to you, we are one of 3 parishes thus far to have started to receive our rebate, ~$5700, which goes to our building fund. I think we can pat ourselves on the backs.

Coming to Mass

The Opening Prayer for Corpus Christi O God, who in this wondeful Sacrament have left us a memorial of your Passion, grant us, we pray, so to revere the sacred mysteries of your Body and Blood that we may always experience in ourselves the fruit of your redemption. The prayer encourages us to contemplate the Sacrament of Eucharist. This means to think upon it, wrestle with the meaning of it in our lives, and then make it real. In doing so we can find a greater experience of what this means for us as Catholics.

Welcome Home Project

The changes will be submitted to the city again. Hopefully all will be addressed so that we can go to bid. PLEASE do consider your pledge to the Welcome Home Project.
We received an additional pledge of $5000 from a parishioner which took her total gift to $20,000; another parishioner also added $5000 to his gift of $65,000 for a total of $70K

Thank you for being a part of the Our Lady of the Snows community!
