Reno Buddhist Center Everyone is Welcome at Reno Buddhist Center. We exist to advance the Buddhist Dharma, educate the laity and contribute to the needs of society.

Becoming a member of the RBC sangha brings with it rewards and responsibilities. When you join the congregation, you join an international sangha of Buddhists in a movement that has been intimately intertwined with world history for the last 2,500 years. this is a formal step for your to "put down roots" at RBC. You will receive a subscription to our newsletter which will keep you up-to-date with

the Buddhist movement worldwide. On the local level you will be able to vote on all issues relating to our community’s well being. You will be eligible to chair a committee or serve on the RBC Staff. You become part of our community. We offer one another a chance to develop spiritually and intellectually, to socialize and make deep connections with other Buddhists and to serve the larger community. You will discover diverse Dharma experiences, a wide range of Buddhist education opportunities for all ages, participate in social events, antient rutual observances, and chances to engage in the compassionate work of the samgha. We also offer you access to important rites of passage such as child dedications, weddings, memorial services and other rituals. Our priests offer pastoral care to all members as needed. We care for and nurture our community, and we are glad to join with you in our Sangha community. We welcome the new gifts and energy you will bring to our community. As we join with one another, we ask that you give serious consideration to how you can contribute your time, talent, and treasure to our common life. Most of us find that the more we give to the sangha the more we get back - Dana is essential to turning the wheel of Dharma.

That time again my Dharma Friends!🙏

To all who are interested and available, the 20’s/30’s Group will be this Friday, May 1st from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM.

As has been stated previously, these nights are for members and newcomers alike to meet, ask questions, laugh, play, and meditate on different topics.

If you have a topic, be it in the form of a book, game, movie, or even a short video you believe warrants discussion, do not hesitate to share! Above all we hope to see many people there.

Which reminds me, while this is the “20’s/30’s Group”, please know we’re not going to turn you away if you’re only 19 or just turned 40. If you wish to participate and have an idea for discussion, we welcome you as a brother or sister of our Sangha. 😌🙏

That time again folks!!! Be sure to join us this Friday, 03-06-26 at the Reno Buddhist Center for our monthly 20’s & 30’s Group!!!

Normally during our group meetings, we have a brief Buddhist Discussion followed by games, but as was discussed during the previous group, this time we’re going to try something a little different.

If there is a book, or a movie, or a YouTube video, or anything really that you believe could promote a Buddhist discussion, you are encouraged to bring it to the group, or even reference it in the comments below.

All ideas are welcome so long as they encourage us to think about the Dharma. I look forward to seeing what we come up with and seeing all of you this Friday. 😌🙏

Tonight the 20’s/30’s group will meet at the temple in the Fireside Room through the main office entrance from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM! We hope to see you there!

You’re encouraged to bring:
