Good Friday Prayer Vigil

Please stay for prayer after the Good Friday Service on April 3rd, or come anytime throughout the night until 9 a.m., April 4th.

This Prayer Vigil is a gathering of the faithful who communicate with God in prayer, focusing on what Jesus did for us, dying on the cross for our sin.

May this time of prayer with our Lord prepare us for the many blessings that are on Easter Morning as we celebrate Jesus Christ’s victory over death!

This month we asked 2nd graders what their favorite kind of cake was and found out they liked cream cake, chocolate cake with "normal" frosting, chocolate and strawberry cake and ice cream cake.

What a way to kick off the year! We had our First Gifts for the Christ’s Way – Continuing in Faith Campaign in January, and we’re already seeing incredible support. Thank you to every family, friend, and supporter who stepped forward—your generosity is turning this vision into reality. Let’s keep moving forward together as we work to build a new school for our students and our community!

Our students had a blast with the Tat a Teacher fundraiser during Lutheran Schools Week! Pastor Bryan - known for his "love" of cats - may have been targeted with quite a few feline tattoos.... Thanks to the generosity of our families, our teachers willingness to be good sports, and the PTL for purchasing the tattoos we were able to raise $1,000 for Christ's Way Campaign!!

Please join us for worship and lunch as we kickoff our Commitment Celebration for the next three years of our Christ's Way missionary expansion campaign.

Kids will sign during worship, and after lunch they can go to a kids Sunday School while the campaign directors give us an update on the expansion.

Please RSVP by December 8th.

Everyone is encouraged to attend this Christ's Way: Continuing in Faith worship service, as one church body to celebrate Knowing, Growing and Serving at Zion Lutheran Church, School and Preschool.
