🔥 YOUTH SUNDAY AT THE MOUNT 🔥
There is something special about seeing the next generation worship, serve, dance, pray and experience the presence of God for themselves. 🙌🏾
This Youth Sunday, our young people didn’t just attend church. They participated in what God was doing in the room. And then came a Word that reminded ALL of us that…
ALL YOU NEED IS ONE TOUCH.
📖 Mark 8:22–26
“Touched by God: Receiving His Transforming Touch”
In Bethsaida, Jesus encountered a blind man whose healing didn’t happen the way we might expect. Jesus touched him once and he could see, but his vision wasn’t clear. So Jesus touched him AGAIN.
And there was a lesson in the process:
🔥 Make your request known.
Some things require more than a casual prayer. Be specific about where you need God to move.
🔥 God’s ways are not our ways.
God may not answer through the method, person, place or process we expected. Our responsibility is to trust Him enough to follow.
🔥 Don’t settle for partial sight.
The first touch changed something, but the second touch brought clarity. If God has started a work in you, stay with Him until the work is complete.
And after Jesus restored the man’s sight, He gave him an instruction:
DON’T GO BACK TO THE VILLAGE. 🔥
When God opens your eyes, you cannot keep returning to the things that kept you blind.
Some habits can’t go with you.
Some environments can’t go with you.
Some cycles can’t go with you.
Some versions of YOU can’t go with you.
You’ve been touched. Now live like you can SEE. 🙌🏾
And as we watched our youth worship and experience God, we were reminded why this matters so much. We aren’t simply raising children who come to church. We are pouring into a generation that must KNOW God, encounter Him for themselves and recognize His touch on their lives.
Reach out. Cry out. Stand still if you have to. Just don’t stay blind.
Because one touch from Jesus can change EVERYTHING. 🔥
