HERE’S A TOAST TO THE SURVIVORS! YOU’RE STILL HERE! 🙌🏽🔥

Sunday wasn’t just another Sunday at Abundant Life Cathedral. It was a celebration of survival, a testimony of God’s keeping power, and a reminder that LOVE STILL LIVES HERE! ❤️

We’ve survived LIFE! We’ve survived sickness,heartbreak, disappointment, grief, financial struggles, silent battles, and seasons that nearly took us out. We’ve survived things we never spoke about and storms we never thought we’d make it through.

And even after the weight of this past weekend, LOOK AT US! STILL STANDING. STILL WORSHIPING. STILL LOVING. STILL TOGETHER! 🙌🏽

Because at Abundant Life, we’re more than a congregation. WE ARE FAMILY! A church that knows how to pray together, cry together, hold one another up, and love each other through life’s hardest moments.

Yesterday proved that survival isn’t always about coming out untouched. Sometimes it’s about coming out with tears in your eyes, scars on your heart, and STILL having a praise on your lips!

WE ARE ABUNDANT LIFE! WE ARE SURVIVORS! AND WE ARE A CHURCH BUILT ON LOVE! ❤️

What an AMAZING Survivor Sunday! God has kept us, love has carried us, and our testimony is STILL being written!

Here’s to everything we survived, everything God brought us through, and everything He still has ahead of us!

🕊️ EVEN IN A SEASON OF GRIEF… THERE IS A MESSAGE FOR THOSE OF US STILL HERE.

As we mourn the lives of those who have gone before us, may we also take a moment to examine the lives we are living.

Because one day, the tears will be for us. One day, our earthly assignments will come to an end. And when that day comes, the greatest reward won't be the applause of people, the titles we carried, or the recognition we received.

It will be hearing our Heavenly Father say, “WELL DONE, THOU GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT.” 🙌🏽

So while we still have breath, let us love deeper, forgive quicker, serve faithfully, walk humbly, and live intentionally.

May our grief not only remind us of who we've lost, but also challenge us to consider how we're living.

Because at the end of it all, we don't just want to be remembered well… WE WANT TO HEAR WELL DONE! 🕊️❤️

Yesterday was more than an anniversary celebration. It was a powerful reminder of what 36 years of faith, sacrifice, prayer, perseverance, and unwavering obedience to God can produce!

From the praise that filled the atmosphere to the Word that stirred our hearts, from every song lifted in worship to every expression of love, Bishop Stenneth Powell Sr. was celebrated in a way that words could never fully capture! ❤️

The love was undeniable. You could feel it through every member, every guest, every embrace, every testimony, and every moment of worship. Yesterday wasn’t just about honoring the years behind him; it was about celebrating the lives changed, the souls impacted, the prayers answered, and the legacy still being written.

36 years of shepherding. 36 years of pouring. 36 years of standing. And STILL, there’s more!

Bishop, yesterday we celebrated your journey, but today we celebrate your CONTINUED YES!
