What a week. Just to be in the presence of God for a week definitely will refill your spirt. We talk about the importance of a group. Someone to lean on, someone share the good and the bad with, the ones that got your back no matter what.

Those kind of friends! Jesus is this friend He will never leave nor forsake you. He is always there, with his hand stretched out, come to him and receive the living waters he offers and never thirst again

God has been stirring and moving in this group all week. And we all experienced a mountain top experience this week 🙌🙌 God is good he is the Alpha and Omega. Jesus our source of strength, and our way to salvation. What well are you drinking from? What is your source. Let’s not just be the fire but the oil that keeps the fire going for others. Run the Race

Today we finished up the book of James with the bottom line of Standing Firm and Being Patient.
Just like our “Jenga Master” had to “stand firm” in our illustration, as Christians we must stand firm, and be patient with others while working together. Remembering not to grumble and complain (especially during suffering).

James 5:7-9- “Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting for the autumn and spring rains. 8 You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord’s coming is near. 9 Don’t grumble against one another, brothers and sisters, or you will be judged. The Judge is standing at the door!”

We also learned to pray for persecuted Christians all over the world 🙏🏻 And to be thankful for the freedom we have today.

Tonight is the night🙌🙌 Student spotlight/ The Boys are back in town. Starting something new this week! It’s time to testify. Tell um all about it. We have a guest wanting to share how Jesus brought them out of anxiety and depression, And how He loved them through it and gave them hope for tomorrow. We all got a story to tell. Hope to see everyone at church tonight
