Last Wednesday night we had a wonderful covered dish supper and two very special speakers. The crowd was great and we enjoyed having Elizabeth Wilkinson speak to us about attending the Mississippi - West Tennessee Conference of the Global Methodist Church. She shared information about what the conference is doing and much interesting information about the conference. After her talk, Brother Davey Wilkinson shared some humorous stories about his childhood and growing up with a father that was deaf and a mother that was both blind and deaf. He shared several stories, but the hit of the night was his story about getting a pet monkey when he was young. Our thanks to them for sharing with us. We hope they will be our speakers again soon.
