I don’t need a throne.
I don’t need power, recognition, or the applause of people.
I only want to be close to You.

Because at Your feet,
my weary heart finds peace,
my broken soul finds rest,
and my lost life finds its way home.

Let the world call me small,
as long as I am close to You.
For what is the highest place in this world worth,

if I have everything—but don’t have You?
If I have Jesus,
then I have already found everything my heart has been searching for.

Most times, the real test comes after the worship music stops. 👀

👉 We can sing about surrender…and still discover areas where we’re holding tightly to our own way.

👉 Sing about grace…and then be given an opportunity to extend it to someone who makes that difficult.

👉 Sing about forgiveness…and realize there’s a conversation we’ve been avoiding.

👉 Sing about Jesus being Lord…and later face a choice where doing what He says costs us something.

That doesn’t automatically make our worship insincere.

💡It reminds us that following Jesus reaches beyond the moments when our hands are raised and the music is playing. 🙌

⚠️ What we believe should eventually find its way into our conversations, our reactions, our decisions, and the way we treat people when there’s no worship music playing in the background.💯

We won’t do that perfectly.

But when the Holy Spirit shows us something in ourselves that needs to change, we can respond instead of immediately defending it.✋

One of the most meaningful things we can do after saying “Amen” is actually LIVE differently because of what God is teaching us.

What we sing on Sunday should have somewhere to go when Monday (and Tuesday and Wednesday) gets here.🙏🤎✝️
