Pearlie Grove Baptist Church - Quitman, MS Located in Quitman, MS, Pearlie Grove Baptist Church was established in 1883. Brother Jim Allen and Brother Willis Howze were two of the original founders.

The first pastor of Pearlie Grove Baptist Church was Rev. Tillis. Other pastors followed with Rev. Johnson serving as pastor for 46 years. The current site of the church was built under Rev. Johnson's leadership. Other pastors have included Pastor Robert McDonald, Pastor Jerry Heidelberg, Pastor George Thomas, Pastor Elijah Fowler, and Pastor David Viverette. The current pastor is Pastor Cornelius McDonald. Church services are currently held at 8:00 a.m. every Sunday.
