This is Us Week 3 - We Value Every Person Equipped to Serve On Mission Together - Devotional Day 5:

Romans 12:4-5
"For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others."

Paul's illustration of the church as a body with many members highlights the importance of each part working in harmony to fulfill God’s purpose. Each of us has a role that contributes to the greater mission; no gift is insignificant. By working together, the church becomes a force of change and hope in the world.

God’s design for us includes interconnectedness, a supportive community that complements one another. As you reflect on this truth, think about how you can better integrate your gifts with others to build each other up in love and service. Our unity as believers displays the love of God to a watching world and allows us to accomplish far more together than we ever could alone.

This is Us Week 3 - We Value Every Person Equipped to Serve On Mission Together - Devotional Day 4:

Matthew 20:28
"Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

Jesus, the ultimate example of servant leadership, came not to be served but to serve. This standard of selfless service should drive us as we seek to use our gifts for others. Our journey toward Christ-like service involves laying aside our ambitions and desires, offering our hands and hearts as tools for His mission.

When we serve like Jesus, we find that our lives are transformed, not just in what we do, but in who we become. It is a journey of growing in humility, compassion, and selflessness. The mission of serving others leads us deeper into God’s love and opens our eyes to the profound fulfillment that comes from reflecting His heart. Consider Jesus’s life and actions as you step forward to serve those around you.

This is Us Week 3 - We Value Every Person Equipped to Serve On Mission Together - Devotional Day 3:

Ephesians 4:11-12
"So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up"

Paul explains that the diversity of gifts within the body of Christ serves a grander purpose, equipping the people for works of service so that the body of Christ may be built up. Our gifts are not meant to be hoarded for individual gain, but shared freely to strengthen and unite the church under Christ’s mission.

By embracing our roles, we create a vibrant and unified community that can effectively advance the Kingdom of God. It’s essential that we seek to understand the unique ways in which God intends to use us, embracing not only our strengths but also the growth found in embracing our weaknesses. In unity, our different gifts harmonize to tell the story of redemption and hope found in Jesus.

This is Us Week 3 - We Value Every Person Equipped to Serve On Mission Together - Devotional Day 2:

1 Peter 4:10
"Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms."

Peter's words call us to be faithful stewards of the gifts we have received by using them to serve others. The focus is shifted from self to others, teaching us that our gifts are not about personal accolades but about uplifting and encouraging the community around us. The true measure of our gifts is seen in how they are used to encourage and build others up in love.

In a world often focused on self-fulfillment, it is counter-cultural to turn our attention to serving others wholeheartedly. Yet, by doing so, we reflect the heart of Jesus, who came not to be served but to serve. When we use our gifts in service, we not only grow closer to God, but we also experience a deeper sense of purpose and fulfillment in our lives. Reflect on how you can use your strengths and talents for the benefit of others, and watch how God brings transformation within you and around you.

Father's Day is almost here, and we have a great morning planned for the whole family!

On Sunday, June 21st, Celebration Church will be hosting a Father's Day Car Show and BBQ, and we'd love for you to join us. Beginning at 8:30am, our campus will have a variety of amazing classic, custom, muscle, and specialty vehicles for everyone to enjoy. Whether you're a serious car enthusiast or just enjoy checking out some beautiful rides, there will be something for everyone.

At 10:00am, we'll gather together for worship and a special Father's Day service as we celebrate the men who have impacted our lives through their love, sacrifice, leadership, and faith.

After service, stick around for a free BBQ lunch, family-friendly games, fellowship, and awards for some of our favorite vehicles from the show. It's going to be a fun and relaxed time to connect, laugh, and make memories together as a church family.

So invite your dad, bring your kids, grab a friend, and join us for a fantastic Father's Day celebration. We can't wait to spend the day with you!

This is Us Week 3 - We Value Every Person Equipped to Serve On Mission Together - Devotional Day 1:

Romans 12:6-8
"We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully."

The apostle Paul reminds us that we have different gifts according to the grace given to each of us. Whether it is prophesying, serving, teaching, or encouraging, we are called to use our gifts actively in faith, service, and love. The beauty of the church is that each member brings something unique to the table, contributing to the growth and health of the body of Christ. Not only are we equipped, but we are also expected to act, our gifts are meant to be shared.

As you step out in faith to use your God-given gifts, remember that it's not about the visibility or size of your gift, but about your faithfulness in using it. Each gift, seen or unseen, contributes to a thriving community where everyone is edified and Christ's mission is advanced. Reflect on how you can align your actions with the purpose for which God has called you, reminding you that every contribution matters in His kingdom.
