Hello Church! This Sunday is the 5th Sunday of the month and our Youth Worship Team will be leading us this week! They will be introducing a new song called "The Blood".
I thank my Savior, Jesus Christ, that He went to the cross for us. Because of His shed blood, we have new life. We have been reconciled to God and redeemed by His grace. And now, because of His great love and the forgiveness purchased through Christ, we can come fearlessly into the Father’s presence, knowing that He welcomes us with joy!

It's Pentecost Sunday! Last week we started talking about what that meant and how the Holy Spirit came in tongues on fire. Today we finish our series by exploring Acts Chapter 2 and seeing exactly what happened to the disciples and the crowd around them during this moment. Join us at 10am as we finish our series "From Fear to Fire" at Celebration Church!

This weekend, we pause to remember. Not just the holiday. Not just the barbecue or the extra day off. But the men and women who gave their lives so others could live in freedom.

Scripture tells us in John 15:13,
“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”

Memorial Day reminds us that freedom always carries a cost. For many families, that cost was deeply personal. Empty seats at tables. Folded flags. Stories that ended too soon.

As a church, we honor those who served and especially those who never made it home. We remember their sacrifice with gratitude and humility. And as believers, this weekend also points us back to another sacrifice.

Jesus willingly gave His life so we could experience true freedom. Freedom from sin, shame, fear, and death. The cross reminds us that the greatest acts of love are always sacrificial.

So this weekend, enjoy your family. Laugh loud. Rest well. Celebrate the freedoms we’ve been given. But also take a moment to remember.
-Pray for military families.
-Reach out to a veteran.
-Teach your kids why this day matters.

And don’t take freedom lightly, either the freedom we have as Americans, or the freedom we have in Christ. Both came at a price.

“Stand firm therefore in the freedom by which Christ has made us free…” Galatians 5:1

The waiting is over. In the upper room, the disciples had been praying and preparing, but now God moves. The Holy Spirit, promised by Jesus, is poured out in power, equipping the disciples to proclaim the Gospel in a way they never could on their own. The miracle of Pentecost isn’t just about the signs and wonders—it’s about God launching His Church into its mission. The same Spirit that fell on Pentecost is the Spirit that empowers us today, calling us to take the Gospel to every nation, tribe, and tongue.

Hello Church! As we approach the passage in Acts about Pentecost and the outpouring of God's Spirit, we have a new song to introduce to you. It's called "Move of God", and it really is a prayer put to music where we declare that we are hungry for what only God can do. Here is a video so you can get a preview before Sunday. Be praying for a move of God this week!
