Newhope South Hill Newhope is people becoming the church - on the mission with Jesus - empowered by the Holy Spirit. This is what we mean by 'people becoming the church.'

Newhope is a safe place for all of us to explore what following Jesus looks like. It's a place to be yourself, build friendships, grow spiritually, and laugh. We have a vision to present hope (Jesus is Savior) and develop people (people becoming the church). Everyone is welcome at Newhope regardless of your story, questions, doubts or struggles. We don't pretend to have all the answers but believe

in The God who does. Like the First-Century Christians, we gather for large group celebrations on the weekend, and then meet in community groups during the week to: connect in relationship, grow spiritually, and live out our faith by serving the community.

Yes, First Wednesday was incredible and we’re so excited that we don’t have to wait any longer to gather again! Join us this morning in South Hill at 9:00a or 10:30a.

We’ll have the coffee ready. ☕️
We’ll worship together. 🙌🏻

People having fun, is so much fun! South Hill families, you really know how to have a good time. Over 1200 people showed up to play games, have lunch and take some things home that make this back-to-school season a little better. We love you and we’re honored to be your neighbors. Hope Encounter 2026 this past weekend was so very special. We want to thank all of the volunteers who came and served our community. This year our partnerships grew. We’re so thankful for Celebration Church, Elim Church, and Sufficient Grace Church for teaming up with us. We’re grateful for Communities in Schools for all of the resources they provide and for serving with us again this year. We are thankful for sponsors like Kiwanis, Red Canoe, LeMay and Convoy of Hope for helping us put on this event. This year was a record year and we can’t wait to do it again.
